Not a fan of the food. I don’t owe an explanation why I didn’t like it to the owner who is probably gonna write an essay as a response as he does with any negative review. Shows a lot about how they can’t control themselves. Edit: As everyone can see, the owner will instantly say that people who don’t give a 5 star and praise are trolls or that they didn’t try the food. Check the other reviews and you’ll see. I don’t like the food that’s all I gotta say, attitude you can see for yourself

I went in with a friend yesterday and had one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. A man who appeared to be the chef was extremely rude — snapping at us when we asked simple questions about the menu, then shaking his head in annoyance and yelling “I don’t have time for this!” like we were wasting his time during pickup. And this was not even a full minute after our number was called. Unbelievable attitude. There’s absolutely no reason to support a place that treats customers like this.

Today I ordered a hot dog in a Fix on Wheels Truck in a little league event in Huntington Beach. The sausage link was ridiculously small. I can tell you, you can buy a better and slightly decent sausage link in any supermarket for $2 for 8 pieces. The bun was as good as any bun in a convenience store, mediocre quality. I paid $8 for that hot dog, in my opinion was a completely stealing. I didn’t expect a fancy or high quality hot dog, but either expected such a rip off. They had mustard, ketchup and mayo as condiments, which was ok.

I had the Fix burger. Very nice Brioche bun, looked like every bit a quarter pound, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo. They advertise fresh ground chuck, could be. I was also able to order it rare which is rare. The meat had no seasoning and very little flavor. Missing salt? This rare burger was also dry at the edges of the patty so I'd say it was missing fat. The grind also seemed to be off a little - too coarse in places, some of it was downright chewy. Nice idea and presentation needs more work to make the burger special.

Had a Silverlake with a Hef at Mt. Lowe's Brewery! Outstanding & excellent! Brilliant way of putting the bacon in every bite! Glad they have a stop on the Eastside!
