Golden Roast Canberra were our caterer for the Central Canberra Parish Christmas Lunch on 13 Dec 2025. The meal was first class & another triumph (Golden Roast catered for our Christmas in July function). Some 80 people attended and had nothing but praise for the catering and the staff who looked after us. The food was superb, and the Turkey was especially singled out for praise. Loads of food with great deserts all professionally presented and served. Happy to recommend Golden Roast strongly and will be in contact with them for our Christmas July function in 2026. Thank you, Golden Roast for a great lunch.

Yesterday our retirement village had it's Christmas lunch for 75 residents. The two young female Golden Roast staff were brilliant. They turned up on time, had everything on the table on the dot of time and were happy, polite and efficient all day. It was a very hot day and they worked sol hard through it all and left the place spic and span after they left. The food was excellent and enough for all of us for lunch and many residents took away containers with food for their dinners. I have had Golden Roast do functions on many occasions over the years but this was the best food and staff ever. Thank you.

We had the pleasure of having our event catered by Golden Roast, and it was an absolute success! The food was a hit with our residents, and by the end of the day, everything was gone. Jasmine was incredible—so calm, composed, and professional throughout the event. We’d love to have them cater more events in 2025!

Sunday 30 September I hosted a presentation dinner for competitors, their family and volunteers who attended a national championships. This was the finale to a huge weekend of sporting activity where competitors were competing for Australian team selection. It was critical for all who attended to have a great experience. The Golden Roast Canberra really delivered! The whole process was hassle free, the quality, food and taste were fantastic and the service was nothing short of excellent. I selected the Big Buffet which comes with a lot of choices. Some of what I chose doubled up. They noticed this, then phoned me and provided some suggestions. Really appreciated this as it added value to the service. They turned up on time, set up, laid everything out beautifully, the presentation was immaculate. As people walked in, the usual reaction was WOW. After everyone was full and content, they cleaned and packed up leaving no sign that a large group of hungry people had just been fed an amazing spread of food. I received overwhelming positive comments about the food from attendees. From my experience I highly recommend The Golden Roast Canberra. I will be booking them again next year.

Golden Roast recently catered for my husband's & my joint 60th birthday party. We had over 100 guests so decided to have Golden Roast do everything to make the evening easier for us!! Nibbles, mains & desserts plus a barman to serve all of our drinks until 10 pm!! Golden Roast even helped us with the contact for a band when our original band fell through!! The party went without a hitch! The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful & looked so smart in their Golden Roast uniforms! The food was delicious!! Fresh salads & roast vegetables, Pork & Lamb that melted in your mouth, along with the table centre piece, a whole salmon cooked to perfection! Then while we were dancing - the food was all cleared away & the left overs packaged up for us - they came in very handy the next day when our interstate visitors stayed for lunch at our place!! I have had so many of my friends ring me for the Golden Roast contact details, (Oh! & the band's) so they too can have a party!! Speaks for itself really doesn't it??! Thank you so much Golden Roast for making our party one we & our friends will never forget!! :)
