I cant thank these guys enough for the care they have given this elderly dog that i rescued after almost being run over by a car. Knowing i was on a tight budget, they worked with me and made the world of difference in this sweet girls life!! Ive attached “before and after” photos just to show how much better she is now. I cant praise these guys enough!!

I've had pets or a pet my entire life -- meaning always had a vet for my pet(s). But, never have I ever had the experience of a vet clinic that offered the type of hospitality, kindness, and treatment(s) like Honolulu Pet Clinic offers! So, here's the tea... not only do they [Sean, Dr. Kondo and their entire staff are epic to say the least] but their services are bar none and can I mention their prices (not inflated like all the rest) are amazing. They actually called to see how my Penelope was doing the next day and all she had was her vaccination shot! This type of level of professional quality care is hard to come by in 2026🤩🤩🤗🤗🐶😻🐱🚀

They are the best! I have been going for years and I have multiple pets. I don't know what I would do without them. ❤️

The vet wasn't very patient and friendly. My dog had an skin issue, that's why I brought my dog there. They did a lab test for my dog without my consent in advance. I got to know the test only til I was charged, at a very expensive price. They told me that they would call me to let me know the test results. But I never heard back from them. They also sold me some kind of moose as a way to alleviate the skin issue, still didn't let me know how much it would be until I paid. Very irresponsible and terrible service. The worst part is that they did whatever test or medication and charged me whatever it costes without letting me know in advance. A visit to this clinic costed me 500+ without any clear explanation, not even asking to make next visit. They didn't care if the medication worked or not, didn't notify me the test results. The worst vet hospital ever! They only cared money. Be careful before you plan to bring your pets to this clinic!

Vet staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I think they would make an excellent primary vet for preventative care and checkups. However, for emergency care and treatment, I would recommend going elsewhere. In my case, the vet did reach the correct diagnosis. However, the clinical workup past diagnosis, I felt was lacking so determining disease severity and subsequent timely treatment was elusive- Ultimately leading to the death of my pet. I will note that the vet didn't seem greedy and actually tried to minimize costs. But, I felt they pushed too much for lower costs; didn't empasize the dire nature of the disease; and failed to create an appropriate care plan. They say hindsight is 20/20, but even so, I believe the vet did not outline the best clinical workup for evaluating disease severity and treatment. Veterinary care of course generally isn't held to the same standard as human care- Nonetheless, just having an option/approach held to a human standard would be appreciated for the many owners out there who value their pet's lives and wellbeing as much as any human. So that even if their pet does pass away, they can tell themselves that they tried everything that they could (without prolonging the suffering of their pet). With all that being said, I would like to thank the staff for handling the postmortem care in a timely, gingerly, and empathetic manner. TLDR- Staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and don't seem to be greedy. Vet arrived at correct diagnosis, but failed to go further and determine how bad the diagnosis was and provide appropriate treatment based on further clinical workup.
