I happened to visit and was very impressed with the beautiful furniture, art, and household decor!! There was a man named Michael who designs spectacular silk floral arrangements! He is so talented and nice and I plan on taking my antique container in to have him make me a custom arrangement!
There’s some nice stuff at this store and sometimes the prices are marked down a bit. I found two chairs that my wife liked and bought them about two months ago. It’s been nothing but problems since I bought those chairs. One of them had an uneven base. They took back the chair and eventually after probably 3 weeks or so, the chair was returned to us. I frequently reached back out to the store asking for updates and we were told we should probably look at buying a couch in addition to the chairs. We were given dates by which the chair would be returned and the timelines were always missed. Eventually the owner got the chair back to us. Unfortunately the base still wobbles a lot. He found the wobble to be acceptable as he has a bigger frame and suggested I use the chair that wobbles and my wife use the other chair as I am 30lbs heavier. I did not agree. He agreed to address the issue and has ordered two new bases in case one didn’t work. This was about two weeks ago. I’ve asked for tracking info for the bases and have not been provided it so I once again have no timeline. This time I am holding onto the chair so we at least have something until the replacement parts arrive. The chair isn’t the best but at least we have something. I like buying from local small businesses especially if there’s issues. It’s a hassle to deal with online retailers. That being said this has been a hassle in a different way. Tons of back and forth has taken a lot of time, almost all of it was me checking in versus them letting me know what’s happening. Meanwhile I’ve paid for the chairs in full and paid for shipping. All the time I’ve spent trying to get this chair fixed is time I don’t get back and in my line of work my time is money. Might shop there again but, if you do make sure the items are in good shape. If none of this happened I’d say this is a 4.5 ⭐️ establishment as I like their products. Yes it’s a bit pricier but if you want big box retailer prices this store isn’t for you. If the issue is addressed I’ll bump up my rating. This review is going up because I feel like I’ve had no recourse given all the items are paid for and I haven’t been offered anything to compensate for my time and the poor communications.
The Interior is not only one of the most beautiful stores in Dallas, but the people who work there are just as fabulous. I was so impressed with Mark and Kelly’s knowledge on furniture and design and were beyond helpful to me. They helped me find amazing pieces that fit my style perfectly literally the minute I walked in the store. I can’t wait for my pieces to come in and for the forever use I will get out of them. Highly recommend x1000!!
Michelle and Kelly, at The Interior helped my husband and me furnish our new home in Dallas. We combined two homes of traditional furnishings with new furniture, lamps, drapes, rugs, and accessories to complete the look of a modern contemporary home. From our third-floor game and media room to the primary bedroom, office and dining room, Michelle and Kelly worked to create a timeless, harmonious, and warm transitional style. The combination of traditional and modern styles created spaces that will always feel contemporary. We are very pleased with the professional interior services that we received over the past seven months and plan to continue take advantage of their expertise.
My husband and I recently married and combined our various furniture into a new home. One particularly difficult spot to decorate was our trapezoidal shaped open living room with a blend of hodgepodge furniture and odd shape. It still is a work in progress as you can see we still need to mount the TV, but the large abstract painting we purchased from the Interior really helped make the room not appear as haphazard as it was before. The large painting really anchored the room and also helped the mantle not look so naked. The service installing the painting was quick, efficient, and very pleasant. Naomi helped us by allowing us to try the painting out in the space before committing to the purchase for a very reasonable fee. The installation happened the day after we saw the painting! Mr. Lafferty was wonderful to work with as well. My pictures do not do the improvement justice because I sadly forgot to take a before picture showing the wall that the picture was mounted on (I am including an earlier image of our living room before our paint job instead for an idea of how challenged this room was before). The painting was amazing because it helped encourage my husband to consider parting ways with the big TV stand and relocate a china cabinet squatting in the living room. This space finally feels cohesive and we are all much happier and peaceful as a result in the room. The kids also liked the painting! This company also helps with light fixtures and we will update our review when we are able to find a good light fixture. We love our new living room and appreciated the quick install!
