I visited with a group of girlfriends using the Spa Pass 5 and we all loved it. The rate is fair, the space is beautifully designed, and two hours was the ideal window to fully unwind. The staff was exceptional — warm and professional. A fantastic experience for women seeking quality self-care and a peaceful reset.
Mostly lovely experience. I’ve been a handful of times and find that it can feel a bit too full. The other spas in town tell you to arrive early to check in but when I tried doing the first appt of the day, they didn’t even open the doors until 5 mins after my apt time and the dry sauna was not up to temp. I feel like there are signs everywhere (and the front desk shoves the rules in your face) that it’s a silent area but every time I’ve gone there have been groups that believe the rules don’t apply to them. I think it would be nice to have actual quiet hours and then more social hours during different parts of the day. I find this space cleaner (and better smelling) than Banya 5 though.
I recently visited The Ladies Room right before moving as an “adieu” to living in Seattle-central and it was the perfect way to relax before an intense week of packing boxes! I was welcomed in by their friendly staff and changed into my plush robe that was provided before unwinding in their relaxation room. I really enjoyed the hot herbal tea and the selection of self-discovery books to browse through before heading to the saunas and pools. I loved the assortment of wellness facilities that are offered at TLR; from the multi-temp pools, steam room, dry sauna, as well as the sauna that features a Himalayan salt brick wall (as a salt fiend, I appreciate this greatly). There are also rooms for massages and skin treatments, but I didn’t use those services, so I can’t properly speak to them — but it’s on my to-do list for when I return! I spent my visit there alternating between the saunas/steam room before sitting in the hot pool while reading (a book about the history of salt… This review is making me realize that maybe I like salt a little too much, ha!) and taking a few cold plunges to reset. There is a beautiful mural above the plunge-pools and I was told by the staff that it was painted by a local artist — love that! Overall, I had a very pleasant and relaxing trip to TLR. The facilities were exceptionally clean and it is an environment that fosters wellness, healing, and positivity. Visiting day spas like this is one of my favorite things to do when I travel, so I’m happy to finally have found a place in the city where I live where I can come to unwind and find my inner calm. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you, The Ladies Room!
So much needed “me” time. Many options to choose from - dry sauna, steam room, infrared sauna, hot and warm pools, cold plunge - choose your adventure. I appreciate the focus on no devices, talking, for a true relaxing experience. Disconnect, read book. The relaxation room is so beautiful and has water and tea.
I recently had the opportunity to tour this space and I remember it from its earlier days as a different type of spa. I was so surprised to see how beautiful, peaceful and calming it was. I’m excited to say that I’ve booked a time to be there soon, but in the meantime, I wanted to share these photos and let people know that it’s not the same as it was. Although the last version was fun, this one reminded me more of being in Palm Springs or Scottsdale. So much more my style and enticing… especially now that the rain has returned to Seattle. I simply can’t wait to go !
