Beyond the massive book selection, there’s a café inside and several small art shops that make the whole place feel alive and layered. There are also iconic photo spots, like the famous tunnel made entirely of books and a framed opening that looks straight out of a surreal installation. Even if you’re not a big reader, it’s worth visiting just to wander, explore, and soak in the atmosphere. Perfect for taking your time, discovering unexpected corners, and leaving with more than you planned.
Awesome bookstore and art gallery. They have a section of collectable and rare books that is super book. The main collection is a mix of new and vintage books nicely curated. They have a large section of vintage vinyl records. Upstairs they have a small coffee shop, several artist boutiques, and several more book sections. This place has a super cool character overall.
The Last Bookstore is such a cool place to visit, it’s more than just a bookstore. They have a great mix of new and used books, plus rare finds and tons of different genres. I spend 2 hours browsing the shelves, I took photos at the book tunnel upstairs. There’s also a vinyl section and local art displays. The staff is super friendly and the books have good value. It can get busy on weekends, but it’s worth it.
Truly a book lover’s heaven 🌻 It was like one of those bookstores that we read about in books, steeped in old-world charm. Towering stacks from floor to ceiling, creative book sculptures (think tunnels, arches, and barrels made of books), and even a delightfully spooky room. One can easily lose track of time browsing the endless sections and $1 finds. Absolutely worth a visit!
Antiques glorified, its a nice bookstore.. you can get used books.. everything is kinda vintage.. having things from the 2000s as antiques was a fun surprise and hilarious. But its a cool spot! Its in a not so safe area but has a lot of people coming in and out of the bookstore… hopefully that makes it safe inside. There are small shops selling paintings, stones, old cameras, telephones etc
