The BIGGEST thank you to Sharon and Monica for getting me ready for my wedding day! They were exactly what I needed on the morning of (& in the months before!) and made everyone feel so comfortable. Sharon and Monica made me feel beautiful on my wedding day! It was a stress free experience and they made me feel relaxed. My hair held up all day, even through the typical Scottish wind. I had a great experience all around, and would recommend them to anyone needing H&M services in Edinburgh.

Five glowing stars! From the very first trial to the last touch-up before walking down the aisle, Sharon and Monica were an absolute dream — creating once in a lifetime look for the whole bridal party including the bride, even better than what they envisioned for themselves. The bride vaguely describe her vibe as natural soft look at the trial and wanted to change it to full glam last minute which was absolutely fine with The Madeup team; they translated it perfectly into a soft, romantic updo and a glowing makeup look that still looked like me, just the most radiant version. They listened to every tweak, never once made anyone feel rushed, and kept the veil placement and humidity-proofing flawless until the last guest hugged at midnight. Professionally, they arrived early, brought a calm, joyful energy to the bridal suite, and kept everyone on schedule without a single stressed voice. The bridal party all raved about their own hair and makeup, too, and the photos show every exactly what we hoped for and more. I booked Sharon and Monica for my wedding in May this year, and they both did a wonderful job for me and my three bridesmaids! It was really good to have a team for hair and makeup instead of booking separate people, as they have worked together before and know how to work around each other which is really handy on a busy morning! They were very relaxed and friendly on the day itself which was much appreciated and made everything go really smoothly. I had a trial beforehand and Monica and Sharon listened to my ideas and pinterest board and managed to capture the subtle look I was going for so that I felt natural on the day, as I don't wear a lot of make up usually. They did a really good job on the day with timings and all the bridesmaid's hair and makeup was really lovely. I would recommend them both!

Sharon and Monica were amazing. We had our hair and makeup done before my wedding reception. As girls who normally never wear make up, Sharon managed to get our simple looks perfectly! And we both have thick hair and Monica made it look easy and beautiful. We had lots of comments on our hair and makeup. Made us feel super relaxed but also glamorous. Will definitely recommend to our friends!
