We had our wedding at The Majestic a few weeks agoand truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The venue itself is stunning—full of old-school charm with a timeless, elegant feel. The Reserve is such a cool, unique space that added so much character to our day. Our guests are still talking about how memorable and different the location was! But hands down, the best part of our entire wedding experience was Ashton. She manages The Majestic and also runs her own coordination business—which we hired her for (and highly recommend you do too!). Ashton is the definition of professional: responsive, organized, calm under pressure, and incredibly knowledgeable. She knows The Majestic better than anyone else and somehow manages multiple large-scale events weekly without skipping a beat. She was so supportive of all our ideas, helped us explore vendors, and introduced us to people who knew the space well—which made a huge difference. Everything looked beautiful and went off without a hitch, all thanks to her! We truly can’t recommend The Majestic and Ashton enough. If you’re considering this venue for your next event—do it!
Majestic was the first of only two venues we toured for our wedding. Aside from being an iconic location with historic significance, this elegant venue truly does stand up to its name, majestic. Its beauty was just unmatched that we pretty much had our minds made up on our way to visit the second site (made it an easy decision for us!). My husband and I are so happy to have chosen this venue. However, our wedding would not have been such a dream come true without our wedding coordinator Ashton!!! There are just not enough words to describe how amazing this woman is. After having found ourselves without a wedding planner with three weeks left until the big day, Ashton kindly swooped us under her wing and made our vision come to reality. This woman pretty much made our 300+ wedding happen with as little as 21 days!!! Everything came out even better than we discussed. Having her as a wedding coordinator was truly a blessing and quite frankly, a MUST when booking the Majestic. As the actual director of the venue, she is so knowledgeable of everything wedding and quite frankly hosting events at the Majestic specifically. The Majestic is beautiful and elegant but a beast of a venue, good thing there is Ashton to tame it! She knows all the ins and outs of the building and is so familiar with the wedding vendors that it made communicate with all parties just so easy. Coming from a bride who had a bad experience with another wedding planner, I can truly attest that Ashton is on a different level. The three weeks we were with her felt stress free compared to the months prior. Ashton is super supportive, creative, professional, and a true advocate. Most of all, she was compassionate. She makes you feel heard and ensures her presence is felt 24/7- which is important. When we say something, even just as an idea, she’s already gotten it written down on her notes. When we mention needing to do contact a vendor, she would already have the email drafted before the end of the conversation. She catered to us from the beginning of signing on with the Majestic up to even after the wedding! We felt like king and queen to how much she catered to us honestly. Because of her, we were truly able to enjoy our wedding. Amazing is what describes her. You can really tell that this is her passion with the way she goes above and beyond to make sure her clients’ vision comes true and that couples get to truly savor this wonderful experience. As a Los Angeles wedding photographer, I had the absolute pleasure of shooting a wedding at The Majestic Downtown in LA, and it was nothing short of magical. The venue's blend of timeless elegance and modern sophistication provided a stunning backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. Its iconic architecture and beautiful moody light allowed for breathtaking photos (recommend hiring a separate lighting team if you’re looking for brighter images). My husband and I got married (ceremony + reception) at The Majestic in November. The venue is breath taking! Many of the compliments we received from our guests included the high ceilings and stunning chandeliers. You have a large space to work with and no matter if all or very little of the space is used you don’t feel as if it’s too empty or overcrowded. Each interaction we had with the venues team members was very pleasant and made the experience much more memorable from cocktail tasting to interacting with them on the day of the event. Ashton was a pleasure to work with. From the beginning of planning up until the day of our wedding she always made time to take my calls, answer my hundreds of questions, and provide support in any way she could. Her assistance through this entire process helped alleviate stress as we planned our wedding from a different state and it is very much appreciated! A situation we ran into could’ve been avoided had we taken Ashton’s recommendation to hire security during vendor load in. My husband found a man sleeping on the floor inside the venue when he arrived. When asked to leave the gentleman left with no issues, thankfully. Overall, our experience at the Majestic was great and I would highly recommend this location for your event.
We had our wedding here in May and it was perfect!!! To be honest it was love at first sight. From the marble floors, to the chandeliers, to the sky high ceilings, to the columns, staircase, vault and more. Its the perfect space to go with a less is more theme and let the vintage glamor speak for itself. OR use the space as a blank canvas and go ALL out. Either way, the venue will impress. As for the planning, Ashton was honestly my rock. From day one, her organization made everything so straightforward and easy. She was always available for my million questions. And i mean a million questions. She knew what she was doing and it showed. Even when my coordinator pulled out of my wedding with 30 days to go, Ashton jumped in and helped me in every way she could. I HIGHLY recommend the Majestic, but the icing on the cake is working with Ashton. :)
