We went to the Mexican for my father-in-law‘s birthday party and overall was a great experience. Starting with valet, which was quick and easy got inside. Host was friendly and got a seated quickly. We had a party of eight. It looks amazing inside very elegant great ambience. JT and David took good care of us, they took a time explaining to us the menu and we’re very receptive and thorough, they represented the restaurant well in their demeanor and service. As for the food with appetizers, we went with. Tostaditas and Lobster Elote, for entrée I had the salmon, some others had the steak, sea bass, shrimp tacos all were exceptional. We tried several different margaritas. Can’t go wrong with any. We will definitely be back.
This is a great date spot (make sure the guys have the right attire on btw or they get a blazer jacket) or a place to just go with a few friends. The drinks were spot on, the enchiladas dishes were amazing, and our waiter was super attentive. I guess that's to be expected in a place like this, but either way it was a great experience. 100s across the board, with no notes. I would definitely return here.
Such a nice place Music is at a good, volume to where you can have a conversation. Our bartender , Jorge , was very welcoming and his hospitality was on point ! DRINKS WERE AMAZING! I got the “La Nińa fresa” (daddy’s girl) and My friend got the “Pepino perfecto” and wow ! It was so amazing ! They use real fruit ! We had the chips and salsa ! Everything 10/10 ! Will be recommending people to come here And I will be back myself !
Beautiful ambience, incredible flavors, priced on the higher side I recently dined at The Mexican and it was an overall standout experience. The ambience was beautiful, the vibes were great, and the service was truly top tier… from start to finish I felt well taken care of. I ordered the lobster enchiladas, and they were outstanding… stuffed generously with lobster and full of flavor. My lemon drop martini was amazing, and the sleek black martini glass added a classy touch that elevated the experience. But the real showstopper was dessert. I had the TARTA DE NUECES, and it was phenomenal… rich, decadent, and bursting with flavor. I’d honestly return just for that dessert (and the martini). My only gripe is the price point, it’s a bit on the expensive side. However, the food, service, and overall experience do reflect the upscale cost. Would I go back? Absolutely! Especially when I’m in the mood for a refined dining experience with great vibes and unforgettable dessert.
We had a table of 9 on a Thursday night. I really liked the vibe of this restaurant, it's very nicely decorated and the hostesses, valet and doorman were quick and efficient. Then came the service, and poorly executed is the best description I can give. The waiter didn't seem to have experience with the menu and couldn't answer questions about it. The drink order was taken, and the drinks are good and strong here. We ordered shareable appetizers and they came out in a timely fashion, but weren't anything to brag about. Then we ordered our mains, again the waiter couldn't answer many questions about it. The mains came out and I had the snapper tacos and I was underwhelmed. Overcooked/chewy fish and an odd flavor. I ate one, then gave one to another guest, then didn't eat the final one. Here's the rub, the waiter never asked how our food tasted. If he had, I would have shared my opinion of my dish with him, but he didn't. Then we went on to the desserts, and they were very good. Overall, for the price, $80 per person, this place was a disappointment and we won't be back.
