This tattoo place rocks! You walk in and the vibe is instantly fun and relaxing. Fun fact, my oura ring said that I had more restorative time the day I was at the Missing Piece than on a normal weekend. That's a statement in itself! Thank you to Zack and Toni for such a positive experience. I love my tattoo! Will soon be making another appointment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m absolutely in love with my new tattoo! It turned out even better than I imagined. The lion emoji is beautifully done — clean, detailed, and full of meaning. It represents my husband, who I lovingly call "Mi Leon", and now I get to carry that special connection with me forever. The placement is perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything came together. On top of the amazing work, my artist was incredibly sweet and kind throughout the whole process — especially patient with my little muscle jumps! She made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. What made the experience even more special is how accommodating Angie was. I was coming from out of state for a conference, and she went out of her way to schedule me on a day she’s normally closed. That kind of flexibility and kindness meant the world to me, and it helped make my very first trip to Spokane, WA truly memorable. Thank you Angie for turning such a personal symbol into something so beautiful.

Had a great time in Spokane! I decided to finally get my first tattoo—and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. We walked in and were welcomed by Tony and Zach. From the moment we stepped through the door, the whole experience was relaxed, friendly, and fun. Tony was awesome to chat with—she shared her story with us, which made the vibe feel even more personal. Zach was fantastic—super attentive to detail, kept the energy light with jokes, and walked us through the whole process so we knew exactly what to expect. The tattoo itself? Practically painless and turned out amazing. If we’re ever back in the area, this is definitely the spot we’d come back to.

I was in town visiting family and had been wanting a watercolor piece for a long time. The artist I was interested in back in Kansas was booked over 2 years. I sent an email thinking there was no way I would get in, especially in such short notice. Received an email back from Toni that Zach had an opening so I took it. I never thought I could love a piece as much as this. It is very near and dear to my heart as it's for my kids. Zach hand drew and picked the colors perfectly! I will definitely be back the next time I visit! The atmosphere was very laid-back but still professional and there wasn't a doubt in my mind that the place wasn't sterile. I enjoyed talking with Zach and Toni in the shop and I'm sure they got a kick out of my country stories. I would 1000% recommended this shop and Zach especially for amazing watercolor work! Thank you again! I got this done at the end of June 2023 and photos just don't do it justice! 💗💗

The Missing Piece is a unique and incredible shop. It's a solid guarantee that any artist in the shop will be a safe bet for a quality tattoo. We all have 'our' artist, and I'm no exception, but I'd be more than happy and willing to let any person in there work on me. Zack is my personal favorite. His control of color and his incredible line work make him possibly the best watercolor artist in the area, and one of the best artists overall. He's also a genius with cover-ups. Do yourself a favor, and schedule a session. There's a reason so many of them are booked out for months! Art aside, they're also a great group of people. Perfect sanitation and record keeping, kind and funny, comforting and responsible. Missing Piece is a family, and the studio feels like home! Edit: went in for another session, and it was just as incredible as the first! I highly suggest you check them out!
