We decided to give it a try. We went for the brunch menu. The decor was very nice. Gave a retro feel. The bill even came in what looked like an old fashion cigarette case. Pretty cool. We all ordered a meal off the brunch menu and shared some kolaches with a couple sides of the crispy potatoes. The crispy potatoes do not come with any sauce or catchup so you need to ask. May ask for two, they bring it out in a little fancy cup. Just bring out a bottle, it’s not going to cramp your fancy style I promise. I ordered the cluck toast. Two nice size perfectly cooked chicken thighs on toast. The syrup was already on it. It was very delicious. Others at the table ordered the poached eggs, pancakes and biscuits and gravy. From what I was told the poached eggs were good, pancakes need to come with butter and if your going to get biscuits and gravy best go to a home cooked restaurant as these were just ok, not worth the price and not sharable. The cluck on toast you could share if one’s appetite is not huge. I had coffee, it was very delicious. Others did partake in cocktails. The wine list was huge! Once again another “fancy” restaurant taking advantage and charging a fortune for drinks. No way a cocktail is worth $18 -$22 dollars. I don’t care if I’m a millionaire. Let’s be real folks, if one thing has not inflated its alcohol yet restaurants feel the need to charge an arm and leg for it. That is the main reason for four stars. The staff were nice but it was slow service. Not a problem if you’re not in a hurry. For a Saturday morning there were only two other tables and one couple at the bar. Give some drink specials. You will see that crowed increase I promise. I’d be back if there were. That’s my honest review, overall a good place and worth trying it out.
I recently had dinner at The Mont, and it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is sophisticated and warm, with a perfect "Winter ’26" vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The Service: A huge shoutout to our waitress, Barbara. She provided super great service—attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. The hospitality here goes above and beyond; the little "freebies" and extras they brought out throughout the meal were such a thoughtful touch and really elevated the night. The Food: Everything was delicious and the presentation was artistic. A few highlights: • Ode Cod: The lobster and celeriac pairing with the preserved lemon nage was incredibly delicate and flavorful. • Wagyu Short Rib: Perfectly tender and rich, served with a beautiful truffle pave. • The Details: Even the smaller bites and the "Carbs" section (the Mushroom Dumplings are a must-try) showed so much attention to detail. And complimentary treats along the way and for home. • Cocktails: The "Belvedere" was a standout—perfectly balanced and smoky that lasted from start to finish. Between the stunning gold chain decor, the wave-patterned floors, and the top-tier execution in the kitchen, this is easily one of the best spots in town right now. (The only downside is the prices are a on the much higher end compared to other fine dining places in fort worth, ex $26 for an old fashion?? $21 for three deviled eggs?) Pro Tip: Ask for Barbara if you can—she’ll take excellent care of you!
We had a great experience at The Mont. The food and service was amazing. You immediately feel immersed in the decor and vibes of the restaurant. Seating is comfortable. We got the crab hushpuppies, and they were great. For the main course we got the Ode Cod and Filet, both were excellent. We also got the potato puree as a side, it didn’t have as strong of a flavor, but that made it nice to have with our main dishes, which did have a lot of flavor. Our waitress, Gabriella, was great, and there were several other servers who were attentive and kind. Also, the plates and cutlery were fun! Highly recommend.
Undoubtedly, one of the finest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The ambiance is exceptional, but the Brussels sprouts are truly remarkable. It is remarkable that such a distinguished establishment has established itself in Fort Worth, Texas. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone who appreciates fine dining or seeks an exceptional venue for a romantic evening. My wife and I dined there for a date night, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ceviche was delectable, the fillet was exceptional, and the espresso martini has garnered my wife’s enthusiastic return.
What a beautiful restaurant... every detail has been attended to. The wait staff is awesome They are on top of their game, but not intrusive. The meal was excellent and not rushed. Crab hushpuppies are a must have, the little sweet potato bread rolls were an amazing bite. The black grouper was prepared perfectly, the Wagyu filet was tender and flavorful and the Ode Halibut was also really good. We were there celebrating my wife's birthday. I was asked ahead of time if there was anything she really loved to eat. There is, but it was not on the menu. They went out of their way to get that ingredient and prepared it beautifully. What a surprise.... I have never had a high end restaurant go to that length to make it a really special occasion. A big thank you to Jason and your team for making this a memorable evening!
