Main Event use to be my go to, but that’s changing. We went in tonight to eat & play & the service lacked. It took 30+ minutes for a salad, mozzarella sticks, & fried pickles to come out even tho we were the only 2 ppl eating at the time. There was barely 30 ppl in the building at that. Then, we go to do the promotional All You Can Play for $19.99 & was told that we could only get it before 12pm. However, that’s not stated in the small print as it usually is with their promos. The guy at the register didn’t even know about the promotion so it gave the manager just didn’t want to honor it.
We recently had a family gathering at Main Event Bowling and had an amazing time! Eric was especially helpful and made everything run smoothly. Using three lanes gave us plenty of room to relax and have fun. Such a great, stress-free experience—we’re already planning our next get-together!
Our family of five visited to take advantage of the “All You Can Play” special, which was advertised as unlimited laser tag. After the first game, we were told the next game would not start for another 30 minutes. Since each laser tag game lasts only about five minutes, this meant we could play roughly 10 minutes in an entire hour. For a family that came specifically for laser tag, this made the experience disappointing and not worth the cost. Only after two families and one party (+10 people) raised concerns, we were finally given 45 minutes of continuous gameplay. While this was appreciated, it should not have required so much effort to receive what was advertised as unlimited play. Following the extended gameplay, I attempted to get water to rehydrate and was told that water cups cost $3.00. This was frustrating, especially after physical activity. We then visited the restroom and found that only two of the seven or eight stalls had toilet paper and only one soap dispenser out of the six worked, which further reflected a lack of basic facility upkeep. Although I appreciate that the manager eventually offered a solution, the customer service fell short. It took 15 minutes of back and forth to reach a reasonable resolution, and the overall lack of flexibility and attentiveness significantly impacted the experience. This visit did not reflect services worthy of the price paid, and as a result, I will not be returning to this location. Do better…
If I could give this location a 0, I would! I just spent over $350 dollars in October for my son's party and another $100 bucks this weekend, just to get kicked out bc a child ran onto the bowling lane. We were invited out by friends last weekend for a bday get together when this incident happened. We received no notice but instead had our game of bowling cut short and got PUT OUT by security before we could use our all you can play cards. I called to speak w a manager , and got connected back to Jackson Sanders, which is the same guy who put us out. Before I could even explain the incident he said "he would not be refunding us due to the party being kicked out for a safety incident" first off all I didnt even get the chance to speak on the incident with him so how did he know which party I was with. Secondly, when I asked why there was no warning or reimbursement ( ie: game card totaling the amount owed) he said Main Event doesn't do refunds. He is a horrible face of the company & I will not be spending any more of my money with Main Event
This location was extremely disappointing in terms of cleanliness. It took an unreasonably long time for our server to bring ranch for my salad, and we never received the appetizer we ordered before our main course. Overall, the service was poor, and I’m not happy with the experience.
