Sadly, my experience here was disappointing. When I made my reservation, I specifically requested a female massage therapist. Upon arrival, I was told none were available and that I would instead have a male therapist. This was frustrating, as it defeats the purpose of offering a choice during booking if it cannot be honored. At the very least, I should have been contacted in advance and given the option to reschedule. While the front desk staff offered a discount, this situation could easily be a deal breaker for some women. The space itself is attractive and appears clean; however, the canvas rooms are far too noisy. The ocean wave sounds intended to mask outside noise were extremely loud and distracting, yet still ineffective. I could clearly hear activity from the room being cleaned next to me, as well as constant coughing from the guest on the other side. Overall, it was not a relaxing environment. Kyle, who I believe was my massage therapist, did an excellent job. Unfortunately, due to the noise issues, I will not be returning.
