The 5 stars are solely for the owner/management and front desk of this locations as they were very understanding of my horrid experience and accommodated me immediately—they don’t deserve a low rating just because of one therapist. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BOOK WITH JILL! Especially if you’re pregnant. I am frequent visitor of The Now in many locations across the country. I have never once had a bad experience till I booked a massage with Jill. When I got pregnant, I went to The Now in another state and had the most incredible prenatal massage so I ended up buying a membership! Like I stated earlier, I haven’t had a single bad experience (regardless of who I booked with) so I decided to book at this Tulsa location. I told Jill of my problem areas and she seemed to be confused right off the bat which made me skeptical about her ever having done a prenatal massage before. The entire time I was on that massage bed, I was wondering when the actual massage was gonna start. All I felt was someone barely poking me with one finger. Idk if that her version of “light pressure” but it was truly laughable to even call that anything at all. I wish I had something at the moment but I honestly thought she was just doing that as a technique before the actual massage started. She also never turned on the bed warmer so I was freezing most of the time. And she just kept mumbling throughout the massage expecting me to understand and respond but I had no idea what she was even saying. Then she left for like 10 mins bc she had a cough and sneeze attack. The only thing I felt like she did a true massage on was my fingers 🤣 I walked out of there so confused, I didn’t even know how to explain it. The front desk girl and the owner were empathetic of my situation they corrected it immediately which is why I’m giving the establishment a good review.

I had such a wonderful experience with Brooke when I walked in and Kendall, my masseuse! This was my first time visiting this parlor and it was great from the booking process online, to the service at the front, to my massage. The environment is clean and sanitary, comfortable and relaxing. Brooke took care of all my intake information and was so friendly. I expressed to her that it was my first time requesting a male masseuse. As a woman, I have only requested females but wanted to try a male masseues. Boy oh boy! Did I get very blessed with getting Kendall. He was so professional, sweet and comforting. I was so comfortable and relaxed that I may have drooled a little on their sheets! Lol! I went in for an 80 Minute Healer with deep tissue and the Herbal Heat Therapy. They have regular water and then some lemon/cucumber water, which Brooke poured for me while I waited. It took no time for Kendall to come get me. We stopped in the area that they have in between the entrance and massage rooms to discuss problem places I was having and also just to chat for a quick sec to get me comfortable. Kendall told me which way to go and advised me to undress to where I feel comfortable. Gave me plenty of time to get situated and came in and started with placing the Herbal Heat Therapy on my back and shoulders. This felt like the warm hug you need on a cold day! He began my massage and his perfect attention and understanding of where all of us hurt from working day to day, was so soothing. I asked and paid for a deep tissue. Now, at some other places, they take that as you need to be bruised when you leave; not Kendall. He understood how much pressure every little muscle and tendon needed to make me know it was deep tissue, without making me have to say, “Okay, less pressure.” He checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was good. He was so sweet and comforting that I was pretty much dead weight the whole time, which is what you want! The environment is great, but they do have only canvas-type curtains between each room. For me, it’s wonderful because they play audio of waves and it causes you to have to speak quietly, and keep your energy levels at low. There was a person who was speaking in a normal voice only a couple of times, but that’s not on the spa, that’s just someone not understanding that it is a quiet space. So if there is anything negative that I HAD to say, it would be that there may be other patrons that have a learning curve of keeping their voices down. Like I said, it didn’t bother me because I was already a puddle of relaxation. We finished our massage and he gently brought me back to life and was waiting for me with a cup of cool water outside our room. He walked me to the front and we stopped and chatted and I told him that I would be back very soon. I met Brooke again at the front and we quickly took care of the bill. She offered up information about the subscription but was in no way pushy and was totally okay with me saying I will book soon when I feel I have the money to do so. This place is wonderful and I hope women especially will give a male masseuse a chance because Kendall is magic. Thank you to my new friends at this parlor and thank you for a wonderful experience!

Enjoyed the 80 minute massage. I appreciated that the masseuse asked me about preferred pressure and whether I wanted a therapeutic or relaxing massage. He really catered his service to my specific needs and did a fantastic job. The atmosphere is top-notch and beautifully done. 10 out of 10, will absolutely go again.

The Now has a lovely aesthetic in the massage area. The surf sounds are very relaxing. We have a membership and enjoy getting a massage every month. Amber is amazing! I’ve been doing the gua sha ad on and it has really made a difference with some chronic tightness.

Absolutely love the atmosphere! It was my first time and I’ll definitely be back. Staff was super sweet and welcoming. Waiting area is very clean and inviting. Massage room is very relaxing and peaceful. Andria did an amazing job! Very attentive and left me feeling rejuvenated! The enhancements are worth the upgrade as well!
