Thanks Charlie and Ellen for getting my old grandfather clock going again and fixing the woodwork. I last saw it working 50 years ago and it’s been in bits ever since then. Now running perfectly. All at a very reasonable cost. The tour of the workshop was fascinating. Thoroughly recommended!

I am so very, very impressed with this company. Charlie is amazing.. he knew exactly what was wrong with my clock. His vast experience in the clock repair service was so appreciated. He fixed my clock on the spot !!! No waiting. The cost was so reasonable. Way less than I expected 🙂 WOW, a walk in service by a very kind hard working man. I am so grateful to him and will always return my business to him… If you love your clock, it needs repair , take it to Charlie. I promise you will not regret it one bit 😃😃

The best place ever. I don't normally write reviews but I had to for this place. I went to Monarch in Edmonton and the owner wanted $1500 to fix my clock that didn't chime. I left. What a scam, and wen there for $100 they fixed it. Hands down, a fair and great place.

My mother's cedar chest almost made it into the dumpster. Instead I made a decision to try to have it restored. I was honestly skeptical that it was possible. Ellen at Old Woodworks took it into her capable hands and brought it back to life over and above all expectation. Thank you so very much Ellen and Charlie for your beautiful work. The chest is not just a piece of furniture. It is full of memories of my mom which are priceless, which can now be passed on to future generations.

Charlie and Ellen are marvelous people--and excellent at what they do! Charlie fixed an old mantle clock we have, and he did so far sooner than we had expected given the bad shape the clock was in. Now it runs perfectly! Charlie even called to make sure it was working fine after we brought it home. Also important is the fact that even though he spent three hours straight working on it, the charge was quite reasonable. How reassuring to know that there is an honest clock repairer in the city! While we didn't need any services from Ellen, she did show us some of the fine furniture restoration she does. All in all, this place is a gem, with two reliable, honest and professional people doing excellent work.
