We had the Paint Cellar out for a residential event and it was a great success!! Easy set up - clear instructions and our residents had an amazing time. I highly recommend The Paint Cellar for your next event!

I made reservations for myself, my sister, and our mother on the 13th. It was a "pick your project" session, which I thought would be perfect for our moms birthday. Unfortunately, the person running the session arrived 5 minutes after our 1pm start time, which happens, we understood. She set up our easles, got us brushes, let us pick out our paintings to replicate, and got our drinks from the fridge. They were the small bottles of Barefoot Moscato, which retail for $8 for 4, but we paid $7 a piece. We had to request assistance in getting enough blank canvases, as there were only 2 laying around. After that, she checked on us maybe 3 times our whole session, each time commenting that we were doing well and didn't need help. We requested additional paint a couple times, but otherwise were fine on our own. She started watching videos on her phone at full volume, which was distracting, then distressing, as the videos sounded like a compilation of people, specifically children, crying and sounding very upset. We discussed amongst ourselves whether to say anything, but as we were nearing the end of our allotted time anyways, we just finished up. We paid for our used materials and drinks, which amounted to $40 per person just to be there and paint, then drinks on top of that. They say they also offer snacks, but the snacks were small bags of chips that undoubtedly cost more than they would be at the store. The materials were not quality, I've gotten similar canvases from 5 Below for a couple dollars each, the paint used was cheap, bulk stuff, and the brushes were definitely not good. By the materials, I'd guess that they're geared towards a younger demographic, like elementary aged kids, but they sell alcohol. Honestly, save yourself the extra money, pick up the same stuff at a cheap store yourself and buy whatever drinks you want, it'll cost less and you'd get better direction from a Bob Ross video on YouTube. Oh, and at the end, they'll email you for a review, but only give you the options for an "Okay" or "Amazing" experience. Seriously, do it yourself, or find somewhere else.

My family and I had an amazing time. Val was awesome and it was our first time doing something like this. We will be back again.

Made a $5 reservation for my son and I to make a coffee mug for mom's day. Website says they have mugs to paint. We get there and it's only large, beer mugs. They wouldn't give me my $5 deposit back even when they have vague website info. Disappointed to say the least. Alternatively, Color Me Mine saved our day.

I have always wanted to try painting so I finally worked up my courage to go. I loved the experience. From nerves to confidence. The atmosphere was very laid back. I am going back for more.

I went to The Paint Celler with a group of co-workers. Everyone had so much fun painting a night time mountain scene. What I enjoyed the most was learning how to make it look foggy. I always wondered how artist do that technique. Lori, the instructor was so friendly and walked around making sure that questions were answered whenever someone was unsure what to do. Highly recommend for an afternoon or evening with friends. Everyone can be an artist with the techniques and instructions that are given.
