I am giving the plant farm 3 stars because most of my plants I’ve bought whether outdoors or indoors were happy however my last couple plants I bought started dying the moment I brought them home. I got a wondering jew that was long and vibrant and happy and when I got it home I transplanted it to a bigger pot and never tampered with the plant as I’ve noticed that can shock them and make them die. I watered only when my water meter said it was dry. I even had it under a grow light. I have had to pull off leaves everyday and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I looked at the soil and it was hard as a rock. This is why it wasn’t retaining water and the roots had dry rot. I wish I kept the receipt so I can return it since it was just a couple weeks ago. 😢 I love this shop and normally have no issues. I’ll continue to go but I am gonna thoroughly inspect the plant and keep my receipt. I tossed the hard as a rock root ball and am propping all the strands that made it. I just hope this doesn’t happen again. A plant cannot survive if it can’t breath. Please take better care of your plants guys. Maybe instead of just receiving a shipment and hanging them to sale, inspect them and transplant them into better soil so they can retain water and be happier. Is this why you guys water multiple times per day? The soil reminded me of some plants I’ve bought from locals that put there plants in clay soil. Please do better and allow returns! I’ll definitely come back. This was obviously on me for not thoroughly looking at it when I got it. I still love your shop and the prices beat everywhere else. Please just do better! This isn’t my first rodeo taking care of plants. I’ve been a plant parent for many years and I’ve not had any issues in a long time.
I took a chance ordering 4 Hoyas from The Plant Farm since I’m in Canada and was sending the plants to a friend in Oregon, and I’m really glad I did. The whole process was smooth and the plants arrived in great condition. I was impressed with the quality and careful packaging. Communication and shipping were dependable, and everything turned out exactly as advertised. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.
The Plant Farm is one of my favorite places in the Spokane Valley to shop for flowers in the spring. They always have a great selection of annuals, perennials, and beautiful hanging baskets. Throughout the year, they also offer wonderful seasonal items. I’ve bought gorgeous poinsettias in the winter and pumpkins and mums in the fall. The houseplant section and the unique gifts and décor inside are always fun to browse as well. I highly recommend The Plant Farm!
Great plant store, my wife absolutely loved it!! They have cool items and everything a plant love would like. They even have a section in the back to build your own terrarium.
This is a review of both the in-person and online shopping experience of this shop. I have had good experiences in both cases -- the plants are healthy and free of pests. Prices are reasonable generally. The store is very calm and pleasant; it is really enjoyable to visit! I like the selection of items that they have in store that they don't offer online, such as their pottery. They also offer plants online that you don't see in person, such as rare specialty plants. (Keep in mind that my shipments are local) The plants I've ordered online have thus far arrived in excellent condition, as they are carefully packaged. I've never had a plant that I purchased die anytime after arriving, because of the high quality shipping and obviously great facility. This place is my absolute go-to, and if you are new to plants -- buying plants from reputable places such as this shop may be more expensive than at a Lowes or other chain store, but your plants are less likely to suffer from pests or disease upon purchase. I highly recommend!
