Good atmosphere, terrible service, food average. Went for lunch, food took over 1 hour to get to our table and our server ( I think his name is Ernesto) never apologized for the long wait and didn’t even approach our table while we were waiting to check in. We were a party of 3 and the restaurant was far from crowded. After flagging him down and asking what was taking so long, he replied “ there are 2 tickets in front of you”. That was it. They told us they do not have tap water so we were given a bottle of water which was a charge of $10. How do they wash produce if they don’t have tap? The server took the $10 bottle off the bill when I questioned the charge. All in all not a good experience for a 61 mile drive.

This was, without question, the scariest and worst restaurant experience our family has ever had. Our young daughter was served a pasta dish that contained a large, sharp piece of glass. This is every parent’s nightmare. She could have swallowed it. She could have been seriously injured. We are still shaken thinking about how much worse this could have been. What makes this even more disturbing is what happened after—we reached out multiple times by phone and email to report this, and have been met with complete silence. No response. No concern. No accountability. Serving glass in a child’s meal is not a small mistake—it is a dangerous and unacceptable failure. Ignoring it afterward is even worse. Parents deserve to feel safe when they take their children out to eat. Based on our experience, that basic expectation was completely broken here. We will never return, and I strongly urge other families to think very carefully before dining here.

To start I want to say I love the scenery at schnebly’s have been going for years, but we visited the Redlander Restaurant for the first time for a girls night with my friends. We had the absolute worst server, Sebastian. We only ordered 4 items but it took an hour for the food to come out. We didn't even get our water to the table till after the food came out after multiple times of asking, an hour for water was ridiculous. When we asked for separate checks it took him another 20 mins to bring it out and he only brought the one check and charged us 20% gratuity. Fine, I accepted it and we paid it because we were ready to leave. But then a few days later I realized he charged and additional $31 of tip to our tab, after already applying an automatic charge of 20% gratuity. This is unethical and illegal to charge someone more money than they actually paid and the service was just plain awful.

The restaurant service is far too slow; despite having plenty of staff, we waited an hour for our food—and the restaurant was practically empty. The food isn't good; I don't think they even have a cook. The only thing that arrived quickly was the bill, which appeared in just five minutes.

Food is bad. We did not enjoy it. Fish was overcooked and tough, tuna was not fresh. Service slow. Beautiful place though.
