10/10 wedding venue! My husband and I had our wedding ceremony on the rooftop, and then the reception on the second floor (sage room) and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue was perfect for our 60 guests (but it could certainly hold more people) We worked closely with Miriam who promptly answered all of our questions! She was incredibly helpful the day of the wedding and eased a lot of my stress. No issue was too big or too small, she was always available / ready to help! We are so grateful for her! The in house catering was delicious and we were able to do a private tasting 1 month before the wedding date. We had such a great experience working with Miriam and the whole Sage Roome staff! My husband and I eloped earlier this year, but held a reception to celebrate with family and friends in Nov 2024. I had been regularly communicating with Miriam for a full 12 months leading up to the event and she was always extremely responsive, understanding and accommodating! The event itself went great. The staff working the night of the reception was so on top of things. We were able to bring our decorations to the venue the day before (as there was no other event scheduled), so set up day of went quick and smooth. The food was amazing. We were able to do a tasting a couple months out and provide feedback for the chef. They were also very accommodating for food allergies. The venue itself was truly just perfect for our type of event. The space is beautiful on its own with a nice sized outdoor patio, but also very easy to dress up a bit for a formal event like a wedding reception.
This venue was absolutely perfect for our rehearsal dinner! Miriam helped us coordinate the event and she was awesome - she nailed every detail and was very responsive - she made the whole planning process effortless! And the bar staff was absolutely a 10/10, we danced with them all night! The venue is gorgeous and is a perfect location downtown for those who may want to continue the party afterwards! Would recommend to anyone!
My husband and I had a wonderful wedding experience at The Sage Room. Our wedding ceremony was on the High Garden rooftop and reception in The Sage Room. The wedding and reception were beautiful and the rooftop was stunning, very memorable and unique. The event manager, Miriam, was extremely helpful from beginning of planning to end of the event, and we really appreciate her expert-level run of show and planning. She coordinated with the bride and groom, parents of bride, and all vendors. Miriam's expert coordination and the very friendly staff made our event seamless and fun, and removed so much of the stress from a big event. Many guests remarked throughout the event and that it was one of the best weddings/receptions they'd ever attended. In addition, the food (appetizers and dinner) and drinks were delicious and plentiful. Miriam and team went above and beyond to customize our complex signature cocktails which where a highlight of the evening. We were also very impressed by the chef's expertise and talent. We recommend this venue space and the staff very highly.
My daughter’s wedding ceremony was held on the roof top deck of the Sage Room and the reception was held at the venue on the second floor of the building. It was a perfect location and was everything that she and her husband wanted in a venue. The food was excellent, the location was perfect and Miriam, the venue coordinator couldn’t have been better! We would highly recommend the location and venue to anyone wanting a truly unique experience. The view of downtown Raleigh from the ceremony and cocktail hour couldn’t be beat!
