The setup guys are awesome and always run great shows! Have been to a bunch of the speakeasy shows and the lineups are always hilarious and it's always a fun time. Anyone considering catching a show at the speakeasy or any other of the setup venues- 10/10 recommend!

Other comics were good but at the end a mean drunk Korean guy did Bill Burr for what felt like 30 minutes. No amount of flashing the light could get him off the stage

I loved The Set Up back when they had a space in the TL and was happy to see they are still the best local comedy experience in this new location. Every comic (there were ~8 short sets) was hilarious including the host, awesome bartenders and cocktails/mocktails, cool venue and great crowd. Will definitely be back!

Got tickets based on the past awesome reviews. The ticket said 830 doors open. Show at 9. The doors didn't even open until after 9. Show started about 920/930. Show was over at 10:30. So it was way shorter then the advertised 9pm-11pm. The comics were decent, some better then others. Headline comic was the shortest act of them all. Drinks were great. They should either change their site to either an hour long show, or start and end when advertised.

This is the best comedy experience in San Francisco. As soon as you enter the venue, you’re whisked away into an underground basement that is classy and totally worth the ticket price. The lineups for the shows are always great with comedians from Netflix, HBO and Comedy Central dropping in.
