Absolutely amazing artwork! The best thing is how many different artists are represented and how all artists are local. Each individual we spoke with in the gallery were artists that were happy to answer questions and show us around a bit. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase from anyone.

Amazing place! I’m so glad we went here, learned about some of the artists, and had a wonderful time (without the eye-watering price of similar experiences). Please keep this place free by finding something at the book store or spreading the word about how awesome it is!

An art gallery that has a friendly helpful staff and a wide selection of art intriguing art. The art on display is pretty impressive, but like the other galleries I've seen in Scottsdale, I am personally most impressed with the sculptures. If you're ever in old town Scottsdale, I definitely recommend visiting!

Scottsdale boasts a multitude of galleries, a significant portion of which revolve around the conventional southwest cowboy and Indian theme that has become monotonous and unappealing. Unlike the others, the Signature Gallery offers a unique experience. Yes, they do have some items with a southwest theme. However, those items consistently also have a bold, modern twist that invites the viewer to take a second look with a long pause. Mark Pabst, the Gallery Director, does an excellent job curating his gallery. He does not fill every space with anything he can sell. Quite the opposite. His gallery invites you in to enjoy the space. It is this space that creates the freedom to enjoy the works on display. Another thing I appreciate is that he is selective in WHO he displays in his gallery. Signature distinguishes itself from other galleries by featuring a select group of approximately a dozen artists at any given time. This gives visitors the opportunity to appreciate the artist's proficiency and talent by seeing a collection of their works strategically placed in the gallery, allowing for a deeper appreciation of their skills. As my wife and I wandered through the gallery, we recognized and appreciated the thought invested in, not only the selection of works but the layout of the pieces chosen. As collectors, we are keenly aware and critical of lighting. They use even dispersed cool daylight lighting. Some other galleries we visited had a patchwork of old yellow halogen mixed with newer CFL and LEDs that didn’t do the artwork justice. That is not the case in the Signature Gallery. Lighting makes the colors “Pop,” and this gallery is full of amazing color. One last comment, we found Mark Pabst, the Gallery Director, kind and professional. He was not a “high-pressure” sales type. He didn’t hover over us and left us free to browse. Mark would answer any question we asked and offered us a bottle of water to drink. We will definitely return at a later date to see what’s new. Well done Mr. Pabst.

My wife and first discovered The Signature Gallery 5 years ago during the Thursday Night Art Walk. We became immediately captivated by Charles Pabst’s work but even more so by the gentleman himself. Five years later we are the extremely proud owners of 8, or is it 10, of his beautiful works of art. We are delighted to display his art in our Scottsdale winter home and our permanent home in Montana where we receive many compliments. Charles, you are a very gifted artist. Mike & Denise PS. Update, it’s now 2021 and we’re the extremely proud owners of 24 pieces of art and sculpture’s from the Signature Gallery. Photo attached shows just 4 of our collection. We like to call this our PBR wall. Pabst Blue Ribbon wall. Six of the pieces are from the Scottsdale gallery.
