I’ve been going to Kristen for years and she truly changed my skin. I struggled with acne for so long and tried everything, but nothing worked until I started seeing her. She told me it would take time to clear my acne but with consistency, good products, and regular treatments we would get there- and she was right. My skin is completely clear now. I sent my daughter to her for acne and she’s had amazing results too. Every time I go in, even if I see someone else, the experience is always incredible and I know I will be taken care of. Kristen knows her stuff and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and their results. I wouldn’t go anywhere else—highly, highly recommend!

I’ve always loved coming to The Skin Chick for facials. I’ve been here multiple times and the estheticians are consistently thorough, kind, and transparent about pricing. I’ve especially appreciated that they never try to oversell products, which is rare in this industry. My facial today was great, just like always. Because I trust them for skincare, I decided to add on injectables for convenience. I mainly wanted a small amount in my crow’s feet, since that’s where I typically notice movement first. I mentioned that I had just hit the three-month mark since my last treatment and still had very minimal movement overall. The injector was nice, but I don’t feel like my original request was fully heard. She recommended treating my forehead as well. I should have paused and clarified, but I went along with it. I assumed it would be a similar amount to what I’ve received in the past, especially since I shared my previous unit totals and history. When I checked out (at the front desk, in front of other clients), I found out I had received 70 units, totaling around $900. I was honestly shocked. I’ve never had that many units before — even when treating additional areas beyond just the upper third. I’m 30 years old, have been doing Botox consistently for 8–9 years every 3–4 months, and have very minimal movement and no visible lines. My muscles are fairly atrophied from maintenance, so 70 units felt extremely excessive. I felt caught off guard and awkward in the moment, so I paid and left — but afterward I felt really discouraged. I genuinely trusted this place because my previous experiences had felt honest and pressure-free. This experience, however, left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I feel like because I wasn’t super outspoken I was taken advantage of. If you decide to get injectables here, I strongly recommend asking exactly how many units are being used and requesting a quote beforehand. I wish I had done that. I still think they do wonderful facials, but I’ll be much more cautious moving forward.
