10/10 experience. The staff was super friendly and had great recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back if we’re in town again. We got the brown sugar lattes (iced regular and hot with oat milk), the side sage maple sausage, home fries, patty melt, and the goat cheese spinach and bacon quiche.

Located downtown in the historic Union Trust Building, this local, husband wife duo owns this business serves fresh food and outstanding drinks. I may have had the best lavender latte I’ve ever tasted. The bartender recommended the chorizo omelette with their homemade mango habanero hot sauce, and it was the perfect combination. The building itself is full of beautiful character, it was once an old shopping center, and the setup is truly unique, with gorgeous seating inside the restaurant and throughout the halls of the Union Trust Building. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I visited this place while in town because of the reviews I had seen, and wow! While the wait was about 1 hour, it was well worth it. So much so we went back a second day. I had the chorizo omelette and it was perfect. I also tried a side of my husband’s pancakes, and those were the best pancakes I’ve had in my life! No lie! I highly recommend trying this quaint restaurant out. It’s located inside of a historic building with accents of gold. Ask the waiter/waitress about the building’s history. It’s a whole thing! I will be returning if ever back in town!

We made the mistake of showing up on race day with no reservation, but the reviews I had read made me want to wait. We waited an hour fueled by the promises of a knowledgeable staff and gluten free options…and it was well worth the wait! Let me start by saying, every single person we encountered on the staff was friendly and had a smile on their face. The host/hostess gave a proper estimate on wait time AND we watched them so gracefully handle every snappy guest complaining about wait time. (I personally couldn’t do what I watched them do lol). When it was our turn we were seated at the bar and greeted by Sampson. While everyone behind the bar was helpful, Sampson immediately asked if we had any allergy restrictions, listed everything on the menu that was gluten free or gluten free adaptable, and then double checked any questions I had with the kitchen. I don’t know that I’ve ever eaten a meal at a restaurant that I have felt more confident in. I had the yogurt, fruit, and granola bowl. Every piece of fruit was ripe, making each bite perfect. My husband had a fried chicken biscuit. He also has a raving review. He told me the friend chicken was the most flavorful fried chicken he’s had in a long time and the sauce on the sandwich was the perfect amount of tang. So in conclusion, not only was our food AMAZING, I also felt safe eating it. We aren’t from here, but will definitely be back.

Very friendly and courteous. Good prices and fast for being in the heart of downtown. Fluffy omelets, perfectly cooked chorizo. Great grilled cheese and other sandwiches to compliment a good brunch menu. Fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend.
