100% would recommend, Snooky is the tattoo artist that did my piece and I’m am more than happy with the result. I will be stopping in each year I’m in town. They also have some amazing deals like the Halloween special with buy one palm sized tattoo get one free. If you are in Louisville area I would definitely check them out

Loved ittt!! I had Niko as my tattoo artist and he was absolutely amazing he asked me tons of questions and kept checking on me and making sure I was doing okay I am 100% coming back!

I was in Louisville for a work trip and wanted to commemorate my first time to Kentucky with a tattoo. After trying a different local shop that didn't have time to get me in, I found this one by chance and I promise you my experience at The Tattoo Shop Downtown was better than anything I expected from the other shop. The entrance is through the Barber Shop so be aware of that, and expect a friendly greeting and a great time from the Barbers as well. I didn't have a strong idea of what I wanted to get, and my artist Niko and his apprentice Marcus helped me narrow in on a design that will both signify this trip and have additional meaning for me in a short amount of time. The shop was clean, the safety practices were on point, and the experience and vibe were impeccable. Niko was a light hand, always concerned with my comfort and constantly checking in. The experience was professional and wonderful. I highly recommend the shop and Niko. I also would like to comment that Marcus was kind enough to show me some of his sketches and is an incredibly talented artist and I cannot wait to see his career blossom. If I'm ever in Louisville again, this is the shop I will be seeking out for a new tattoo. Traveling to Louisville specifically for a tattoo from Niko or Marcus one day is definitely a potential in the future as well. I am so pleased and impressed by the piece I walked out with.

My husband and I got walk in tattoos here while on our anniversary vacation and we couldn't be happier! Funny, friendly staff that did an excellent job. Niko did an amazing job with my spooky candle while Brandon did a fantastic job on my husband's tattoo. 10/5 would highly recommend!

Highly recommend for ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCING! My friend is getting her Disney tattoo sleeve that is amazing already! Our niece stop in the shop and Brandon Powell even let her get a little tattoo. Such an awesome experience. I couldn't ask for anything more, they really go above and beyond!
