Unfortunately, I have to start off by saying that I’ve had to use my fair share of lawyers. Not in a bragging way of course because getting in trouble is not the cool thing to do. However, in this scenario, it led to Town Law LLC, and to probably one of my favorite people ever, Pat Doherty. I started this review off by saying I’ve had to use my fair share of lawyers to let everyone reading this know that I have some experience with other law firms. I wish I didn’t, I wish I had the number for this gentleman from the very beginning. Attentive, caring, humble, funny, I could go on and on. Pat isn’t a lawyer, Pat is a friend who GENUINELY cares about you, your family and your future. He could not have been any kinder to my mother every time he met her and for that, he got my respect instantaneously. He fought tooth and nail for me, handled my case with ease, yet still called me to make sure I was mentally healthy and doing the things I needed to do for a better future and NOT just to beat the case. I don’t foresee myself ever getting in trouble again, but I will tell you that through this experience, I met a friend for life. Patrick is truly an amazing person and attorney! Although Pat was the attorney for my co-defendant, who is my husband, that never stopped him from keeping me informed and grounded throughout a year and a half of fighting felony charges. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood every step of the process, especially when my public defender fell short. He worked closely with my lawyer to protect my interests and help me stay calm through a very stressful time. Thanks to his support, I went from facing serious felony charges to receiving a misdemeanor with only six months of unsupervised probation. Even after my case was resolved, he has continued to be there for me. He always responds to my questions and provides helpful information to make sure I complete my probation successfully.
