Trap Yoga is by far my favorite studio in the city of Detroit! Not only do I occasionally teach here, but I also love attending many of the classes. When I want to treat myself, I book a massage with Jamel, who is hands down one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever experienced in America. If you’re looking for a great community of yogis and a beautiful atmosphere, this is definitely the place for you!

I recently visited this establishment on 2/14/24 and received a Blac Thai Massage for what was originally suppose to be a luxury service I wanted to treat myself to. I had no idea it would be something that would turn into a health need. I originally presented with moderate low back pain with mild sciatica involvement that onset two weeks prior to my appointment. I discussed my concerns to Jamal and he knew exactly the treatment my ailment required. Jamal provided me an exceptional service from beginning to end. His professionalism down to his skill set was stellar. The delivery of service far exceeded my expectations. The level of care I was given provided me a significant amount of relief where I felt functional. I'm grateful for his healing hands and human compassion .

Really enjoyed my first class at The Trap during community week!!! I’d been wanting to take a class here since I heard of it’s opening. Very Clean, professional and excellent parking!!! Tameko Dandridge was my instructor and she’s always great…love her classes! Definitely will be coming back for more! I’m a beginner and even tho the particular class I took was a tad fast pace I was still able to keep up and didn’t feel discouraged!!
