I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life & have bursts of trying to do better on my own but have never seemed to get to where I want to be before burning myself out & quitting. I reached out to Mark at the end February 2025 & told him I had 70 pounds to lose. I don't think I believed it was possible. We met, made a plan for meals & cardio at home & began training together 3 times a week. Mark changes up workouts every session & keeps things interesting & challenging. He is a very knowledgeable trainer and just a generally lovely human. If you are in the same place I was, having someone like Mark to support you & keep you accountable is everything. I couldn't have kept at this as long as I have without him (I've tried & failed many times before). Now! For the results... ☺️ I meant to write this last month when I finished my 3rd set of 12 sessions with Mark. On the last day of my 12th week, I was down 30 pounds. Today, at the beginning of July 2025, I am down 43 pounds. Just 27 away from our original goal 😃😃 I didn't used to believe I could do this. Now, there is no way that I won't. I'll keep updating my progress on this review until I'm at my goal. If you're in the same place I was, just start 🩷💪 support & accountability make all the difference.
I’ve been working out with Mark, and sometimes with Dave, for months now with the goal of getting stronger and just overall healthier. I feel SO much better than when I started (I used to be out of breath after going up the stairs) I’ve never considered myself to be an athletic person and always needed motivation to get to the gym but I really enjoy my workouts with them and being in better shape has let me enjoy workout classes with friends and pickle ball with the family. Honestly so glad I found them! 1000% recommend - especially if you have no idea where to start with working out and getting healthy.
I have had the pleasure of working with 2 of the personal trainers here, Mark Saunders and Dave Kowsky. Both are exceptionally well qualified, professional trainers who are passionate about helping their clients meet their goals, safely. I have wrist injuries that both trainers are very mindful of. They each ask me how I'm feeling, what's sore, and what to avoid working that day. They are sticklers for proper form to ensure the best results and are careful to start off slowly, working with lower weights, and smaller movements until they (and I) are confident my form is correct. They are encouraging, enthusiastic, and obviously love their jobs. I've had trainers in the past, who got an online certification to be a personal trainer, made a workout plan for the day and ran their clients through it, regardless of injuries or capabilities. Those trainers obviously didn't want their clients to come back! I highly recommend both Dave and Mark if you're looking for help achieving your health and fitness goals (both short and long term). And I can report that I have had no injuries or aggravated any of the wrist injuries. They have been in this business for 30+ years! This speaks volumes about their abilities, commitment to their clients, and their integrity. They also encourage trying other trainers to change things up a bit - no guilt trips! I plan to continue training with them well into the future.
Mark is a fantastic personal trainer! I have been working out with him for a few years now and couldn't be happier. He personalizes all workouts, is exceptionally knowledgeable, and is always careful to make sure my form is right to avoid injury. He is super motivating and fun to workout with. If you have the desire to become fitter and stronger, you will have a better chance with Mark.
I went to Mark with a specific goal to reach in a short amount of time. Mark was awesome, he designed our workout sessions in order for me to reach that goal. He is so good about keeping me motivated. There were several times when I wanted to quit but he kept me going!! Not only did he get me to my goal he made me reach higher!! He is very passionate about personal health and fitness which shows when he is training me. For me its hard to stick to a regular schedule due to work. Mark has been awesome about working around that. He's definitely dedicated to helping people reach their best physical self!! I recommend him to everyone I meet!!
