We traveled across the country to see a great band (BADBADNOTGOOD check them out!!!!) The Warfield is a cool old theater. Bathrooms are gross but that's Rock and Roll 🤷🏼♀️ The sound and lights were cool. Would definitely see another show there for sure. The staff was really great from the ticket takers to the bartenders and the fella who helped us find our seats! Will be back.
The Warfield is an awesome venue for concerts! Its large but just small enough to feel quaint and close to your favorite artists. You get an amazing view of the concert on the lower floor, but have never been up above. It can feel a bit tight on the bottom but if you get a standing spot next to the wall, its great to lean on! Reserved seats for disabled people is great too!
Saw Buckethead last weekend, bartender served strong. I was up ery front close enough to see Bucketheads nose hairs. Ex cellent experience all around Thank you SF
This venue is very great to watch any artist that you like. The staff is very friendly. The venue is very well kept and is a very nice location to watch your favorite artist. The bartenders are great. Caroline was sweet and attentive. And Ruby, the bartender is also Very great. Manager is also awesome !
This is definitely one of the Bay Area's classic venues, with a stunning mid-century interior that feels like you're stepping into an old opera house. It has charm and character, no doubt. But once the place fills up with a few hundred fans and everyone's on their feet, it gets hot. There's little to no ventilation, and I found myself hoping they'd crack open some doors or have rooftop airflow--it was that stuffy as soon as the lights and music kicked in. For non-drinkers, water bottles were surprisingly pricey, and the alcoholic drinks were pretty mild, nothing strong. That said, I still had a great time chaperoning the kids to see D4VD and Bryant Barnes--the energy inside was amazing. Now for the tough part: the location. The venue sits in the heart of San Francisco's Tenderloin district, and parking or walking to and from the venue is not ideal. We parked at the Hilton, about four blocks away, and even then had to walk through streets that didn't feel very safe, especially after 10pm. There were a lot of unhoused individuals on nearly every block, many asking for money or trying to talk to passersby. Definitely keep your safety in mind when attending a show here, especially if you're with younger guests. All in all, a memorable night--but I'll really have to think twice before attending another concert at this location.
