My wife and I have been coming here for almost two years. Hazel our hair designer is super amazing and talented. She is very dynamic, down to earth, friendly and easy to talk to. Excellent luxury service and hospitality by her and her assistant Dayoung. She is busy so you might have to book an appointment in advance online. You can see her photos on instagram. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I paid $230 for a haircut and left very detailed notes prior to my appointment. I have thick, coarse hair, only cut it once a year, and specifically requested the ends to be even and straight (not V-shaped or overly thinned). Unfortunately, these notes were clearly not followed. The final result was uneven, overly thinned, and difficult to style. The cut does not suit my hair type, does not grow out well, and looks rushed rather than intentional. At this price point, I expected careful consultation and technical precision, neither of which were delivered. This is not about personal preference — it’s about execution and professionalism. I’ve had significantly better results from much more affordable salons. I hope the salon takes client notes more seriously in the future, especially when charging premium prices.
I’m so happy I chose Dani at Theoroda for my haircut! I’ve been searching for a good stylist in the LA area and tried a few, but my hair always ended up just so-so. Dani cut and styled my hair extraordinarily well. I went to a party that same evening and got so many compliments. I’ll definitely be coming back — and it’s great knowing I no longer need to fly to Korea for a good haircut! 😄 The whole experience was wonderful. The girl who washed my hair gave a little head massage, which was relaxing — especially after driving almost two hours to Theoroda. Even the parking experience was positive. The security guy in the lot was super, super nice and helped me get out of a tight parking space. Also, I tried the matcha and kimbap in the same plaza and would totally recommend giving them a try!
I had an amazing experience with Celine. She was so generous to accommodate my time since I don’t live in LA. She took the time to understand the look I wanted and explained each step of the process. The cut and the Aqua Perm came out even better than I imagined. I felt my hair growing back heathy! The salon was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. I’ll definitely fly out to LA to get my hair done from now on! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a skilled and caring stylist!
I got a volume magic straightening treatment from Jenny, and she did an amazing job! I have thick and very curly hair, but she started with a clean, precise haircut and then completed the straightening process beautifully. She was super kind and attentive throughout the entire service. The salon has a great atmosphere, and all the staff were friendly, which made the experience even better. I’m very happy with how my hair turned out—highly recommend Jenny! 제니 미용사님께 볼륨매직 받았습니다 친절하고 실력도 좋으십니다 강추 !!!
