First, I did not have them clean my home and I’m sure they are the great at their work as mentioned in reviews. However, I just had to say I was extremely disappointed when I got my quote today. In shock really. I live in a small basement apartment. We clean our home regularly however I wanted to get a fresh start for spring - baseboards etc, and was quoted $683! For a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment with small kitchenette. This is what Google had to say about this quote “ That quote is significantly higher than the provincial average for a standard apartment cleaning. In Ontario, the typical cost for a one-time cleaning of a 2-bedroom apartment usually ranges from $150 to $350 Your quote of $683 for under four hours (two cleaners) effectively breaks down to roughly $85+ per hour, per person, which is at the extreme high end of the market even for premium services. Market Rate Comparison (Ontario 2026) The following are the standard 2026 rates for residential cleaning in the province: Hourly Rates: Independent Cleaners: $20 – $45 per hour. Professional Companies: $35 – $70 per hour. Flat Rates for 2-Bedroom Apartments: Standard Clean: $150 – $230. Deep Clean: $250 – $350. Move-Out Clean: $300 – $450. *** To say that their cleaning is so above standard as to charge a very small apartment 683$ is absolutely absurd. I’m sure I will find a cleaning company that meets MY high standards for a much more reasonable rate. No company could reasonably say they are worth 700$ for a small basement apartment with one bathroom.
