Bowling how it should be!

A man I didn’t know approached me, pretended to shake my hand, and then pulled me into a hug without my consent. He tried again a second time before I told him to get away from me. Staff were watching, and when I asked the employee behind the counter if I was supposed to tolerate this, he replied “uh yeah.” Very disappointed in how this situation was handled and hope management takes customer safety more seriously.

I called the other day to givd heads up I was bringing students from my church. And while I am very understanding people have bad days, The older lady I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude. She gave me an unnecessary amount of attitude because they have bowling leagues thursday and fridays evenings like I was supposed to know this kind of information. I apologized several times from my lack of understanding and she came back with more sass and attitude. I will never bowl here and I hope that lady is PR trained on how to take a phone call with some manners.

In a world where bowling centers aren’t really just that anymore, this place is a breath of fresh air walking into it. We just moved to the Beaverton area, and I am an avid bowler in my free time. I’ve been making my rounds to different centers to check them out with my Motiv bag in tow. And everyone was telling me I need to make my way here. Down to a pro shop operator that won’t stock Motiv out of respect for the PSO at Tigard Lanes. When we pulled in I had an idea of what we were about to walk in to. But I couldn’t fathom how great it really was when I walked in. Between my love for an “older feel” in centers and the atmosphere, I was in 7th heaven. Classic rock and such playing on the speakers, 14 what felt like greatly maintained lanes, and a hospitable staff that were so easy to talk to and deal with. Before my first ball hit the lane this center was already on my Mount Rushmore of centers I’ve had the opportunity to play at. Thank you for being a by the game, and not by the hour center. And thank you for giving me the opportunity to check out this gem. And the die hard Motiv approach? I am ALL about it. I will definitely be back.

Great specials! We usually go on Sunday evening. The staff is super friendly and we enjoy the conditioning of the lanes.
