Very disappointed with this course’s lack of support for youth golf. Removing Youth on Course has made it harder for kids in the community to access and learn the game. Since Derek Zackman left, management seems more focused on greed rather than growing golf or supporting local youth. It’s a shame to see a course turn its back on the next generation of players.

Went and played 18. It got really backed up were my partner and I were waiting 15 minutes to tee off. We decided to pass up to 5 holes that were so backed up to play the 18th hole. I went to the shop to ask if they could do anything because of how backed up it was and they said no.. I don't think I'll play here again. Not a good experience. Definitely better courses to play. Save your money go somewhere else. Especially if they're not willing to compensate us for getting frustrated and skipping holes and not playing a full 18

Played a round today at timber creeks 18 hole after hole 9 a random guy and his wife cut in front of us saying they were playing earlier and took a break and now need to play. And then at hole 15 he just skipped to hole 17 or 18 who knows. And then we go behind a group of 5 hitting very slow. like how is that acceptable at a golf course charging this much money to play honestly embarrassing and went to ask for refund after play and shop was closed I guess they should make this place resident only as they can just do whatver they want I guess. What a joke

I will start by saying - I am not a golfer! That being said, my dad was and he loved golfing at both of Sun City's golf courses including the Timber Creek Golf Course. Also my sweet son-in-law is and he very much enjoys golfing at both of these golf courses too! For me - I thoroughly enjoyed a visit with friends as I walked around the golf course and thought I'd share how lovely it is. (I realize golfing is the top priority, but a lovely golf course is much more enjoyable than an ugly, ill-kempt one. Plus for those golfers who take non-golfing spouses, I thought this would be a good encouragement for them that they will enjoy the trip, even if they don't golf. 😀). These grounds are DEFINITELY beautifully maintained. There are a variety of lovely views including beautiful tall trees, gorgeous green shrubbery, open areas and sweet hidden areas. Because Sun City is designated as a bird sanctuary by the Audubon society, there are a wide variety of birds to enjoy including some of my favorites like ducks, geese, and the beautiful white egrets we occasionally get to enjoy seeing. If you are walking rather than riding a golf cart, it's an easy walk overall but it definitely is a lot of walking. Great exercise for sure. I would take a water bottle or two with you even in the winter. This is indeed a well-kept beautiful golf course that golfers and even the occasional non-golfers with the golfers can thoroughly enjoy it!

One of my favorite golf courses in the area. The scenery was beautiful and the course challenging. There is a putting, chipping and driving range. The amenities are well maintained with an upscale feel. This is a great date spot, if both people are into playing golf. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
