One of my favorite places and I have been to multiple locations. Its intimate atmosphere makes it feel like you are with family every time you walk in and the staff is always ready to help with a wine recommendation and a charcuterie board.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this place when I was invited to join a wine tasting with some friends. My first impression was that it was really loud, even though there was only one other table of 5 people in there at the time. The next thing I noticed was the dirty & messy bathroom. I know what it's like having very little storage space, but at least put a room divider in the bathroom or hang a curtain or somethiiiing to hide the vacuum, mudroom sink, mop, etc. When the guest bathroom looks like that, it makes me fear what the kitchen looks like. The next thing that made a less than impressive impression was the itsy bitsy pours for the tasting. There were five different wines (two whites, two reds, & one dessert), which would have totaled to maybe one glass of wine, & that feels generous. The table I was with ordered some charcuterie-style plates to share--mostly fruit & nuts. The layout of the menu is super weird, too -- most of us were unsure of how to digest it. Split between like 13 of us, the bill was $50/person. IMO, that's wild. Would not recommend.

The best place to come and enjoy wine and conversation. Mary knows everything about wine.

I’ve only had wonderful experiences at Tinto. It’s a smaller, more intimate shop where you immediately feel at home the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the employees treat you less like a customer and more like family. Mary, in particular, has an expansive knowledge of wine, and her recommendations are always perfectly on point. What makes Tinto stand out to me is not just the friendly service but the way they expose you to unique bottles you’d never discover on your own. The prices are very fair for a wine shop and only get better with membership. If I hadn't been moving away three months after I found this spot, I would have gotten at least the base level membership. The constantly rotating selection introduces you to wines that expand your palate and take you on a journey through regions you may not have even known existed. Every visit feels like both an education and a treat, and it’s the kind of place you find yourself wanting to return over and over.

The service was great. Great selection of unique wine. The prices weren’t terrible. The cheese board was good.

Tinto travels Northern Tuscan Coast Tour 2024 Well, where to begin, we had heard good things about Tinto‘s travels and decided to book a tour to the Tuscan region. Our first day we met Peter and his assistant Marcello and departed from the Florence airport on a bus for the beginning of our journey. On the bus, we got a chance to know the 17 other travelers that we would spend the next six days with. I won’t get into all the details, but we had six fun filled days with an excellent group of people with Peter and Marcello always ready to make sure we were extremely happy and very full of wine. We enjoyed some of the finest restaurants that I don’t believe you would ever find on any other tours. It is obvious that Peter has done a lot of research and made many friends over the years he has lived abroad. In addition, the tours they provided every day I feel were very unique and also something that you would not find on a larger tour. Usually someone Peter had met over the years was there to give us a guided tour of the facility, marble quarry, or an art studio that was way off the beaten path on a whim that was provided by one of the owner’s/chefs of a restaurant we had lunch in. If you’re looking to have a lot of fun, make new friends, eat excellent food, and drink some of the best wines of the world I would highly recommend, picking a tour with Tinto’s. Arrivederci, Glenn, Denyse & Phyllis
