They accommodated about 30 of us on late notice. Everything was great. Great people, great place.

I’m a son from Mexican immigrants so mexican food was an everyday cuisine at my home. They have the best flautas 🔥

I had the chili Verde with pork tips. The pork was tender, and the rice was delicious. The beans aren't that good. Unfortunately, they don't have in house made tortillas. The place was very clean. Some other customers took my table when I went to the restroom. Other than that it was a good experience.

Tio Pepe’s is a classic Stockton establishment. Located in downtown, we prefer to go on Sundays when parking is free and convenient. If you go right at 11am, the service is great and the wait time is nonexistent. The restaurant is clean, well lit, and has some gorgeous hanging plants inside. You can tell there is a pride of ownership! The chips and salsa are pretty good… if you like more of a kick, make sure to ask for their super spicy salsa. I find the regular salsa to be a little bland for my taste. Their gravy and cheese? On point! I always order the Pork Soup, which is literally pork, broth and rice— but with that spicy salsa added in? Magical. My husband gets a Beef Taco and a couple of Cheese Enchiladas and he says it is always good. Their pricing is extremely fair. They have a couple of rooms for Private Parties. Plus, the balloon arch in the front is fun… I’m sure you could hire that company to decorate the space for you! Overall, if you’re looking for a classic Stockton dining experience, then make sure to check out Tio Pepe’s.

Good food and good family gatherings. I love to see families gathered together here. Food, laughter, and lots of chatter & sharing. We celebrated Mother's Day by meeting at the Cemetery first, as it was the first Mother's Day without our Mom.
