I had such a great experience during my visit! I stopped by asking about their options for gift cards for someone else and both employees were very kind. It's great that the community college has free parking in telhe unmarked spots, when I was I school we had to purchase parking stickers for either the semester, quarter or year which would get very pricy after a couple of years. The location of the bookstore is also very convenient as it's directly behind the black curtains inside of the Red Mountain Building room 103 and next to the student services center.

Staffs less than helpful they will tell you you can’t open access codes to return and then not let you return them. Btw you can get all books on Pearsons website for cheaper than what they offer in store. Thank me later. 😘

Multiple times I've had my orders messed up. Most recently I ordered a new workbook and a used textbook. No used textbooks were in stock so I got a new one supposedly. I got a textbook that was scribbled in and a workbook with pages ripped out. I can't just go to the book store because I work while they are open. No one checked these books though? I should've opened the bag and that's on me for not doing it immediately but if I'm spending money on textbooks I expect to get the correct item in the correct condition.

Buying textbooks from here is okay, the low rating is due to the staff. I have been given misinformation 3 times, even sold a digital textbook that happened to be incorrect as they placed it in the wrong section - to which they didn’t want to refund until my instructor went in. Most recently I was told by two different employees that textbook buy backs for the summer semester was the week of 08/12 (I even had someone with me to confirm) I called 08/13 to make sure and was immediately told by one of the employees who originally told me when, tell me that was false and was the previous week. I asked if I could still bring it in as this textbook was nearly $150 and was cut off and told no, I was upset and asked if there was literally anything that could be done and told no as I needed to have come last week despite being told a different week. I was then told very rudely over the phone that they have no idea who would tell me incorrect information to which I then told them that the person I was speaking to was actually one of the employees who told me. Immediately I was met with denial and refusal that was ever said so I just hung up. Being as this isn’t the first time I’ve been told the wrong information by staff, I just wish I would be given correct information, places like Textbook Brokers are no longer open and most textbooks require an access code so you are pushed to buy from here. Edit: 1- I did not call to get a quote over the phone. I stated I called to confirm that buybacks were being done that day before I drove over, I had even stated I asked over the phone if I could still bring my textbook in and was told no. 2- If you’re saying that buybacks happen year-round (ignoring the retail/wholesale aspect), why did the staff tell me over and over again that buybacks were one week only and that they were no longer doing them? This is what I’m referring to by misinformation being provided by staff. Had I been told that originally or even just told to navigate over to your site then the issue would’ve been immediately solved.

The staff is pleasant and helpful when you can get a hold of them. They have one number to contact them to set up a pickup (since COVID it's all appointment only). The line is constantly busy for hours upon hours and you can't get anyone to set up a pickup. So I've paid you money for a book that I need for a class that I paid for that the institution can drop me because I don't have the required materials because there is no way to get in touch with anyone to get my materials that I ordered through you to pick up? Until there is a new system in place I won't even attempt to use this place again.
