Todd Haiman designed and project managed three terraces for us (the largest of which is 1250 sq ft). These spaces had a lot of potential, but were also challenging in terms of their unusual dimensions. Todd excelled at every stage of our project: During the design and planning phase Todd struck a delicate balance, marrying creative vision and expertise with a truly collaborative approach to design. The final plan took into account all of our goals for the spaces and turned their challenges into opportunities for added interest and utility. After we settled on a plan, Todd guided us through the overwhelming process of custom planters, irrigation, custom designed carpentry, which required a tremendous amount of cost engineering. When spring came, Todd meticulously project managed multiple phases of the install, working closely with several teams to implement the design. He has clearly earned the respect of his contractors over the years, and I think his leadership throughout the implementation phase elevated the level of craftsmanship in the finished product. Even though our project was completed this year, we have since seen Todd several times. We will be continuing to work with Todd and team for management of our gardens going forward.
