Top Paw gave our dog the tools to be confident after he developed anxiety/reactivity toward strangers and other dogs. He can now confidently walk around strangers and other dogs! It’s been a night and day difference in his personality and it’s amazing how much they helped him.

Top Paw K9 is a total game changer! Jennifer + her amazing team helped to create a curated plan for my pup shadow to help with her anxiety which ultimately allowed them to help her training. They were patient with me as well and helped me to learn the process to keep shadows training in tact after the 4 week board and train. Before working with them it was really challenging riding an elevator in our building if other dogs were around and now she is able to ride elevators, walk on leash near other dogs and even have play dates with other pups. While the cost might seem intimidating at first, it is 100% worth it for you and your dog to get the right training that is curated to the dogs needs and your home environment. Best part is getting to reach back out if I have questions, and its comforting to know she can be boarded there when im out of town and have her training reinforced, and even get groomed before i pick her up!

I truly can’t be more grateful for Jen and team that trained my boy. I tried two trainers before i took my black lab puppy Mallard to them. Jen and her team actually were the only ones able to understand him. Finding a trainer for your dog is honestly so hard, you want to find the best person to send your fur baby to. She truly is the best in so many ways. She listened to EVERYTHING I asked for and made it happen in the week and a half he was there. Not only that but she made sure to send me so many pictures and videos updating me with every new technique. When I came to pick him up I saw he was truly loved and taken care of. Overall, he was a completely changed boy who listened off leash, knew many commands, and had so much more confidence. I would highly recommend her over and over again. Send your dog to Jen and her team. It'll be the best decision you've ever made for you and your fur baby!!!

I cannot recommend Top Paw K9 Academy enough! Jenn and her team were exactly what Honey and I were looking for. Jenn understands dog behavior so well and I feel so much more bonded with Honey because of it. I came in because of Honey’s aggressive reactivity, and after trying out many trainers, I started losing hope. We did the 5 week training session and are now doing daycare with training. Honey’s confidence has greatly improved over the sessions and our walks have felt so much less stressful because of it! It’s important to note, and Jenn makes this clear from day one, that YOU have to put in a lot of work to see an improvement in your dog, she provides you with the tools necessary to see the improvement, but you have to be prepared to put in the time. It was so scary to jump in and trust them with training my dog but I am so happy that I did.

Jen and her team trained my very assertive and alpha Doberman as a puppy and it was LIFE CHANGING for mine and his relationship. Her mission is to create a language you and your dog speak. She does an amazing job at making it a completely positive and meaningful experience for both dog and owner. ITS THE OWNER THAT NEEDS THE TRAINING. We want to be the leader for our pet and she teaches us how to lead so our beloved dogs will respect, trust and respond to our requests. This is the second time I’m bringing my Doberman to Jen. First was basic training as a 3 month old boy and now as a 4 year old amazing boy who she turned into a service animal. He was very reactive to other dogs and men in his space and she had taught him to relax and fully focus on ME as his owner and wait for MY command or trigger of anxiety and then he will jump into action fulfilling his duty to interrupt my anxiety and panic attacks. First day after getting him back, I unexpectedly had an anxiety attack and he jumped into action without me knowing he would as he JUST learned these tasks. I am floored at the growth and forever grateful for Jen and her team, John especially loved on Briggs and worked him and built a special bond. I will never not have a dog that isn’t trained by her and her team. I live in San Diego and made the drive to her because I know the level of excellence she delivers. She is the GOAT of dog training.
