I went there a few months ago for my Spa package. It was a really nice experience with both Jun and Tracy. I really liked the Organic Facial by Jun though, because I was looking forward to it. Tracy was also good with dry brushing and a massage. Overall I totally recommend this place if they both are still working there.
Couples Massage was great. The therapists we had listened and addressed our needs, applied just the right pressure and ensured we were comfortable. Facility was clean and inviting. We will be back.
This review is specifically for a deep tissue massage with Valerie, so if you are looking to book a deep tissue massage, BOOK WITH SOMEONE ELSE. She may be better suited for gentler massages, and I say that because even after multiple times of asking for maximum pressure, while she did try to use more pressure, it was not a proper deep tissue massage and I left the massage feeling like I'd wasted both my time and money. The pros: parking is easy, the space is beautiful, and everyone is very nice, from the receptionist who took my call, to Valerie, to the other receptionist who closed me out. Valerie started the appointment by asking what areas needed the most attention, and if there was anything I didn't like, which I did appreciate. At the end of the massage, she also had a glass of cold water which is great for guests who don't bring their own. The other great thing is that you can pay with HSA (which is great if your employer contributes - if I had to pay full price with cash I would rather go to a Thai or Chinese Tui Na spot where they'll actually get into your knots) The cons: the massage was probably the worst deep tissue massage I'd ever gotten. In retrospect, I should have requested someone specific after reading reviews, but I also believe that you should be able to trust a place to only assign massage therapists for styles that actually align with their expertise, and they should be vetted accordingly before they're hired or allowed to practice. Paying customers should not be practice grounds, because truly, it felt like she had never given a deep tissue massage in her life and she was winging it (there were multiple times where she was just kind of wiggling my muscles ???). Additionally, I had mentioned that my forearms needed a lot of attention after she had asked for focus areas, but when it came to the arm massage portion, she would have skipped over my forearms entirely if I hadn't reminded her midway through her tucking my arm back under the blanket. I've never been this agitated during a massage before, and while I appreciate the effort she put in, all I could think about the whole time was whether or not she was going to actually address why I was there, and whether or not there was a way I could switch to someone else midway because massages are not cheap and for the services rendered, I was highly disappointed. Also to note, make sure you get there early so you have time to get in the room and get situated because they'll end your appointment exactly 60 mins after the time you book for, not 60 mins after the actual massage starts so you'll end up shorted by like 10 mins if you show up right on time.
I had a 90 minute detox and destress with Tracy and very much recommend her! Tracy found tight spots I hadn’t even realized were there. She took the time to work them out and gave me a very relaxing full body massage. I appreciated that Tracy communicated what to expect since it was my first time here and she made sure I was always comfortable. She also checked in through out the massage.
I had a treatment from Carol and it was one of the best massages I have had in a long time. She listened to my concerns, asked me how I was feeling throughout my session and increased/ decreased her massage pressure to suit my needs. Wonderful facility, very clean and nicely kept.
