Great walk on a fun layout, could use a little more emphasis on fixing divots by the clubhouse and starter

TPC Harding Park: A challenging San Francisco golf course with lake-view on the Back 9
Located at 99 Harding Rd, San Francisco, TPC Harding Park is a golf course and sports club with a challenging layout. Reviews call the course well-maintained and note the Back 9 lake-view scenery, while the Front 9 is described as less distinctive. Some comments cite price/value concerns, greens recently aerified, and cart-path-only play on all 18 holes; walking may improve pace.

Overpriced for the condition Played today at TPC Harding Park, and honestly, the course condition doesn’t match the price tag. The greens look like everyone forgot what a pitch repair tool is, and the bunkers clearly haven’t seen a rake in days. The rough is about 3–4 inches thick, so even good shots vanish — great if you enjoy hitting it straight down the middle and still losing your ball. For a course with this reputation and green fee, I expected much better maintenance. Layout and setting are nice, but overall it’s below average value right now.

I’m pleased to play here! As expected, the course was well-maintained, and it was so challenging that I ended up using almost every club in my bag.

Greens were not good because they did aerification lately. It would have been nice for them to offer some discount on green fees as other golf courses do. Cart path only on all 18 holes. It made a little harder for us to keep the pace. Walking may be a better choice on this course. Overall this course is good. Worth the money? Maybe not.

TPC Harding Park is a nice course, but only for the Back 9, cause there's not much design in the Front 9 (if you take photos, they'll pretty much look the same), just carpet-like fairway makes you feel like playing in the PGA certified course. (meanwhile I just personally don't like the course surrounded by buildings and traffic) And as the matter of fact, the Back 9 is really better with view to the lake, and luckily I played during late afternoon, the sunset colored the course with golden rays.
