We had our roof reslated by Traditional Roofing in Dec 2024 and were very happy with the service. The communication throughout was excellent with Scott, who also made all the arrangements with a joiner to carry out additional repairs. The workers onsite were great and clearly experienced, and once the work started they were here the majority of the time. We had two named storms during the works with no visible ingress in the house. The craftsmanship looks excellent, thanks a lot!
I had been trying to find a roofers for a while with no success. When I discovered Traditional Roofers and Building Ltd they were a great find. From beginning to end I found their service efficient and professional. The work was assessed and then the details of what needed to be done and the cost involved were presented to me in an email. They attached proper documentation of their assessment which is exactly what I wanted. When I agreed to the work being carried out, they kept me informed of when it would be done. Once the work was done, they even provided photos of the completed work again very professional. I would happily recommend this company to others. A big thank you to all the team.
Chimney render. We had problems with damp ingress, and when Traditional Roofing investigated, there was serious stonework issues with our chimney - obvious when the old render was removed. Since the initial inspection by Gary and the work carried out by the friendly and professional team the job was done well, new render and pointing around the down pipe. Very satisfied with the job and Trad Roofing!
From the start, communication with Scott was very prompt and clear with emails, the project plan and timeline. Even when getting quotes, Scott was the friendliest, the most knowledgeable and communicated the best from his inspection. We used Traditional Roofing to repair our flat roof which had taken a battering over the past few rough winters, and they did a stellar job. The team; Tam, Jamie, Darren & Murphy, were fantastic, on-time everyday and got on with the job. Although the work was carried out very quickly and efficiently, the workmanship was above and beyond what we were expecting after seeing jobs by other companies, and all for an extremely fair and competitive price. Throughout the job, Scott reported back to us daily on the progress and any further findings from their inspections which kept us in the loop, on top of the team keeping us informed whilst they were doing the work so we knew exactly what was going on. The team of lads were great, very hard working and polite which is far and few between to find these days. Not only did Traditional fix our flat roof to the highest standard and fit new gutters, the team also made sure that the garden was cleared after the job and even did wee bits and bobs for us as and when required. When it came to payment, Scott was very thorough with the checklist of the jobs that had been carried out and the entire interaction was professional from start to finish. To top this, the guarantee offered by Traditional gives us peace of mind for the next good few years. Attached are pictures of the teams work as it should be recognised. The felt and insulation they fitted were custom cut and the roof looks fantastic now. Every detail was considered throughout their work, and required little to no input from us. The proof is in the pudding, and the pictures show what a great job they did to not only fix the roof, but make it look good too. Traditional, Scott and the team come with our highest recommendations to anyone looking to get their roofs repaired or inspected.
