I love, love, LOVE this place!!! Such a great selection of romance books, cute merch, bookmarks, and more. The staff is great, I’ve gotten great recs from them and they are just overall super friendly! This is the perfect indie bookstore for all my romance peeps to support!!!!

An all romance bookstore! I have never seen such a thing. This bookshop started in a school bus and recently opened their brick & mortar. This small bookshop is beautifully decorated. I loved everything about it! The owner Kate has done something special here. I can’t wait to share with my neighbors in Davidson. I think a Girls days out in Charlotte must include a stop at Trope! I LOVE to see new bookshops in Charlotte. This one has a very large selection considering its romance only—plenty of romantasy, dark fantasy, and other genres more loosely featuring romantic subplots. Lovely displays and engaged workers. Love this spot and will stop by again when I want a new book. There were also recommendations on the shelves from employees, which was neat!
