The actual movers we used with TROSA were excellent but the customer service in the main office fell short of expectations. I was very clear about what we wanted and prepaid for services. However, I received a call for additional fees the next morning. While the additional costs were legitimate, it made our entire move extremely expensive. We ended up paying well above what we would have paid had we gone with another company. We chose TROSA because of the work they do in the community and still believe in that work. However, the cost of their moving service exceeds any community related commitment they may have. Use them only if you are okay with paying above market pricing and consider it a donation to a worthy cause.

I must say my sister and I are very disappointed in Trosa moving. We had our moving day set for 01/05/26. My sister called to see if we could push the day back a week as we felt we needed the extra time to get ready. When my sister called to inquire, she was told that they were going to have to cancel on us anyway because they didn't have any drivers for the month of January! When were we going to find out! We chose Trosa because we believed in their program and wanted to use them instead of another company. Now here we are scrambling to find another moving company to move us out of state at this late time, especially during the holidays. Not good service.

I hired them to move my 3 Bedroom Home and was extremely satisfied with their service. They arrived right on time and completed the move much faster than expected. Everything was handled with great care—there wasn’t a single scratch on any of my belongings or the walls. I highly recommend them to anyone moving in the Triangle area!

We just had our third incredible experience with Trosa Moving Company, and they once again exceeded all expectations. We had a huge amount of boxes, furniture, and exercise equipment to move on one of the hottest days of the year—with temperatures in the high 90s and a heat index around 107°F! Despite the oppressive heat, the Trosa crew was absolutely amazing. They brought a large team of seven movers who were all friendly, thoughtful, and incredibly diligent. When a couple of crew members started to feel the effects of the heat, Trosa immediately sent them home to recover and brought in even more reinforcements to ensure the job was done perfectly and on time. Tony and the entire crew did an amazing job moving all of our belongings and setting us up in our new home with care. Beyond their exceptional service, Trosa is a fantastic organization that helps adults overcome substance abuse, teaching them valuable skills and building a strong sense of community and pride in their participants. We will always choose Trosa for our moving needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company that also does great work for the community.
