Our dog Suki absolutely adores Ben. He has been such a monumental factor in how she has improved since we had adopted her from the shelter in March. Her daily temperament has improved, she is much less reactive, and we have noticed such a big difference in her obedience. He has taught her (and us as owners) so much about how to better understand dogs and how to train a dog. We are eternally grateful for Ben and trust him more than anybody to watch Suki, and we continue using him for boarding whenever we go anywhere without the dog. If we could rate more than 5 stars we would!

Working with Ben was a life-changing experience I have a 2-year old red heeler who used to resource guard me and my belongings and lived in a constant state of high arousal. I had two incidents where my dog bit family members and knew I needed to hire a professional. I struggled to pick a trainer, but I truly believe Ben was the best choice for us. I had worked with a trainer previously and didn’t see results After just one phone call with Ben, I was sold. After only one session, we were already seeing results in things I had been trying to train for years. I had done a lot of training with my dog but lacked consistency because I didn’t know what would actually produce results. Ben was extremely knowledgeable and explained not only what I was doing wrong and how to fix it but also what results I should expect. He taught my dog to respect me and not blow off commands and went above and beyond to improve his obedience in the house and on walks. I left every session excited to work more with my dog and see how far he can improve. Bens balanced training approach worked amazing for me and my dog, and I now feel confident having my dog around family members using the techniques he taught me. Ben truly understands dogs and loves what he does. I am looking forward to learning more from him in our follow-up sessions. If you are looking for a trainer for aggression or behavior modification, I would choose True Canine Training.

We sent our two year old golden retriever to Ben for the board and train program and are blown away with the results! Our dog has always been sweet, loyal, and playful, but he struggled to listen to commands and was really stubborn. We wanted this behavior corrected and Ben was able to do that and more. After training with Ben, our dog still has his fun-loving personality, but now listens and responds to commands immediately and walks perfectly on the leash. We’re so pleased with Ben’s training and recommend him to anyone!

10/10 — Truly Life-Changing Dog Training! Working with Ben was absolutely worth the investment — the results in just 3 weeks blew us away. Our two puppies used to pee and poop all over the house, pull like crazy on walks, and fight with each other nonstop. The barking was so bad you could hear it through the entire house — it was exhausting and stressful. We even tried another trainer who used only positive reinforcement, but after that, our puppies got worse with potty training. We interviewed five different dog schools before finding Ben — and from the very first greeting session, we were impressed. He clearly knows what he’s doing, and you can see it immediately in how the dogs respond. He’s not a pushy salesperson trying to upsell or overcharge. He’s genuine, professional, and focused on real results. We’re pretty picky, but even for us — Ben is a solid 10/10. Now our pups are listening, no more accidents on the carpet, no jumping on the couch, no chewing things they shouldn’t. And best of all — we’re not constantly yelling, chasing them around, or feeling stressed about having dogs. Our home is calmer, our pups are happier, and we finally feel like we’re in control. I’ve already recommended Ben to all my neighbors with “crazy” or untrained dogs — because what he did in just 3 weeks seriously improved the quality of life for both us and our pups. There aren't enough words to describe how incredible our experience has been with True Canine Training and the head trainer Ben. Ben is one of a kind.. You can truly see how much he loves dogs and his job. Before we sent Odie off to training camp, he even came over multiple times and answered so many calls and texts with all our questions. With my Wife and I being first time dog owners, Ben was a life-saver.. He provided us with helpful puppy training methods and reassured us in some of the more energetic or difficult puppy behavior periods. After Odie came back from camp he truly has been THE BEST boy. We can see all the habits instilled during his board and train and have been happily reinforcing everything Ben summarized in the post training session. It goes without saying but we've told everyone we know they HAVE to use True Canine Training if they want a well-behaved dog. Thank you for everything Ben!
