TrueBooks has been really awesome in filing my taxes the past few years. I had complicated taxes due to numerous LLC's, numerous rental properties, and a primary residence that also served as a rental property. They were able to properly file my taxes, despite the challenges of understanding various forms of tax law in real estate, media, and e-commerce. I was surprised how easy they made the process. My taxes owed amounted to less than I anticipated, which is always relieving.

I hired TrueBooks CPA and paid about $6,500 with the expectation of proactive communication and quarterly tax-planning calls. Despite being assured that response times had improved, I experienced very slow communication and only had a few planning calls, and only when I pushed for them. Stephanie was pleasant, but overall the service did not match what was promised or what I expected for the price.

Working with TrueBooks was a fantastic experience. Brittney was very thorough in preparing my return and she found several tax breaks that I hadn't previously been taking advantage of. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the coaching conference calls and chats. I am a small landlord looking to expand my rental property business and it has been wonderful to be able to learn about taking advantage of different tax breaks moving forward. The calls are a great way to make learning about the tax code fun!
