Came here for a wedding. Cocktail hour was nice on the balcony. Seating was spaced well. Acoustics was good but view was not the easiest. Dance floor was great for all the people who attended. They have gender neutral bathrooms in the front. There was also a separate room for kid activities.

The library is a stunning wedding venue right in the middle of the city! The big windows and architecture alone are so gorgeous we barely had to decorate. We had our ceremony downstairs, cocktail hour on the balcony, and dinner and dancing back downstairs. The library staff are wonderful professionals to work with and recommended great vendors. All of our guests were so impressed and it was a great way to celebrate our love of Sacramento as well. Would 100% recommend to other couples!

Went to a charity event here for Disability Rights California (DRAC) and the venue was great! Service, food, drinks, tables, etc were all very nicely done.
