I’ve spent enough time working alongside a Los Angeles–based social media marketing agency to see how the operation actually runs, and it raised serious concerns. The pitch is polished and heavy on buzzwords, but in practice the strategy often feels thin and designed to justify large retainers rather than deliver proportional results. “Proof” of success frequently relies on clients who already had momentum before the agency came on board, which looks more like taking credit than creating growth. Reporting tends to highlight surface-level metrics instead of clear, measurable outcomes. My takeaway is simple: do not buy the pitch. Ask for specific, verifiable case studies that demonstrate real growth over time. Real marketing is measurable, and real results do not need a smokescreen.

TSMA has been such a pleasure to work with! They help me with my social media and hold several industry panels and seminars. When it comes to social media managing, they are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and helpful. There is always someone willing to help with any questions or concerns you have with your social media. As far as the panels and seminars, the ones I have attended have been really insightful and inspiring. The most recent panels have been with casting directors in the industry which have been great. Thank you TSMA!

I just came out of the event that TSMA did with casting director April Webster, and I've got to say, I'm really glad I participated. I almost didn't because it's a bit past my bedtime, but I felt so energized by the kindness and sincere encouragement exhibited by the panel speakers. Listening to everyone speak both made me feel good about the way that I'm spending my time working on myself as an actor and gave me some helpful reminders on what I need to work on - like remembering to breathe and participate in the world by simply noticing more of what's happening around me when I go on a walk (masked, of course). TSMA seems like it's run by really genuine people, and I appreciate what they do!

I am always SUPER impressed with the wealth and generosity of knowledge they share in their seminars. I appreciate their guest speakers' point of view in their respective areas and how they interweave the information with solid, current-day methods to organically grow your audience!! I am looking forward to working with them and really giving this a good push finally. I feel like their examples and experience are just the right next step for me!! Thanks SO MUCH Ryan and Ben for the AWESOME and UNIQUE seminar topic and for bringing in Morgan to share her expertise as well!! Keep well and healthy!!

Fun and easy-to-comprehend seminar today led by Ryan and Ben from TSMA Consulting at my union SAG/AFTRA. WOW! This sure isn’t their first rodeo and now I’m excited and inspired. Thank for empowering me, you guys.
