We have two kids attending Tutoring Club for about a year. Started off a bit slow, but we course-corrected about midway through the year and have been very happy with results. Jennifer has really taken an interest in their success and it shows - our kids’ writing skills improved tremendously.
Professional, transparent with fee structures and FLEXIBLE when you need to cancel, pause or change dates--just send a text. My elementary aged son loves his experience here, the "teachers" and is always happy to come. We have seen a lot of growth in the few months he has been consistently attending. Would definitely recommend as both parent and child are happy with how they do business at the Tutoring Club.
Be careful buying hourly packages! We bought our first package and everything went well. My wife made sure we would get a refund in case our older kid did not adapt (per contract). Everything was fine. We used the whole package. Then we bought our second package for our youngest. He did not adapt. We tried different approaches, even a different office. It did not work for him. When we asked for a refund, guess what! The second package came with different wording in the contract. We did not notice, and of course, they did not alert us!!! There were no refunds after a certain period! Had we known, we would have pulled the trigger much earlier. Just be careful!
Our 6 year old son started going to The Tutoring Club as an extra booster to get more learning time during the reduced in-person schedule. This has been the best experience for him. He has def. made progress and gained confidence. He actually enjoys going! We are SO happy with the progress he is making in reading and writing. Ms. Jen is wonderful and the location is ideal if you are in the area. This added time during the pandemic has been fantastic. I would recommend to any family. thanks!
Our two boys have been going to Tutoring Club now for 2 years and we really are grateful for how much our boys have learned. Our elementary school age boys excel at math but have struggled with reading & writing. We started with a reading focus to get them going last year and have seen a lot of improvement, especially over the summer. Now we are focusing on writing, which a lot of parents know doesn't come easily for some children. The last two years after summer our boys come back to school in fall with improvement, instead of the typical slight slip. Thank you!
