My son has been a patient at Twelve Corners for almost 2 years. He primarily sees Dr. Stutzman (lover her), but has seen the other doctors on occasion (who are also awesome). In our experience, everyone from the doctors, nurses, lactation consultants and receptionists are all kind, compassionate and professional. Any time my son has needed anything, he has been able to be seen immediately. I have even had to use the after hours number on a weekend and a doctor got in touch with me within the hour. I personally have not experienced what some other people are saying about a certain receptionist(s) not being very nice or how there are always different receptionists working. Whenever I've gone into the office, I've seen the same receptionists I always do. When I've called on the phone, I've talked to the same receptionists I see in the office. I'm not sure if other people need to do some self reflection in how they interact with people in the world, but starting your interactions with kindness can go a long way. I did want to add this part though before I end my review, when I was pregnant, I vetted so many different offices. Me and my husband ended up choosing Twelve Corners because they are not only a small private practice but they also adhere to the APA and CDC guidelines about vaccinations. Both me and my husband not only want to keep our son safe but other people safe. Going to an office that requires their patients to follow the necessary vaccine protocols, and proudly state it on their website, was very important to us when making our decision.
They can NEVER get your kids in for appt. and they don't allow you to see any other doctor. They make it extremely difficult for parents juggling several kids and deadlines for physicals and what not. Making people wait 7 weeks for an appointment bc the doctor is out of the office for 3 weeks is not professional.
Twelve Corners Pediatrics is a wonderful facility to bring your child to. Look no further, they are professional, timely, organized and I feel prioritized whenever I reach out with questions, concerns, or requests. Both of my daughters see Dr. Adria Roberti and she has been nothing short of phenomenal, along with all of the nursing staff. Just one little tip: if your pediatrician does request bloodwork done for your little one that needs to be outsourced, go to the lab in the Strong Memorial Hospital. It seems counterintuitive with the blood draw that is super close by, but trust me, the extra looking for parking is highly worth it. They're very speedy at the hospital and will get you in and out very efficiently. The other place close by, like most of the blood draw places, is heavily under resourced (to no fault of their own!!) and normally has one, mayyyyybe two phlebotomists.
The doctors are good, but like a few reviews have already mentioned below - the receptionists/check out folks are not consistent. There is so much turnover, sometimes you get good but most of the times very unfriendly. They don't even want to look you in the eye while speaking to you, they just look to the side and very terse conversations.
The woman who answered the phone at 9 AM on August 15, 2024 Was completely unprofessional and clearly doesn’t like her job. I began by asking if I can schedule an appointment to get my niece a physical, who I now have custody of. She was determined to ask me what school she was going to as if it was any of her business and then told me she was booked up until late September and I said I was still interested in setting up an appointment as my niece needs a new doctor. Following that, she wanted information which I was willing to give her and then she said “well actually, I have to make sure the doctors are taking new patients.” I think as the receptionist you should know if the doctors are taking new patients or not because I’m sure you get that question a lot throughout the day. I told her I’ll pass and I think she’s very Unprofessional and she did not care and hung up on me. Not a good look!!!
