I’m a wedding planner and recently had the opportunity to work with Twenty-One Films for one of my couples’ weddings, and I was incredibly impressed with their level of service and professionalism. Phil, the owner, was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. He communicated clearly and thoughtfully with both me and the couple, taking the time to understand their priorities around film length, storytelling, and the overall feel they wanted their video to have. On the wedding day, Phil and his team were an absolute dream to work with! They collaborated seamlessly alongside the photographer, content creator, and even a news crew, all while staying calm, professional, and unobtrusive. The final wedding video was beautifully done, and their turnaround time on the highlight film was impressively fast. As a planner, I truly value vendors who are both creative and reliable, and Twenty-One Films exceeded expectations on both fronts. I would absolutely love to work with them again and highly recommend them to couples looking for an exceptional videography team! Thank you Twenty-One Films!!
Took our money but never performed any service, nor made any good faith effort to help. We booked Twenty-One Films for our wedding and paid them in full to get a discount. Our wedding was scheduled for September 2020 during the height of COVID. Four months prior to the scheduled date, we asked to reschedule since there was an executive order prohibiting weddings of our size from being held in NC. Twenty-One Films were unwilling to reschedule nor return any of the full amount we paid. They kept ALL of our money (the full price for their services) and delivered absolutely nothing nor did any work. I'm sure they are good when they actually perform the service you hire them for but you should not expect them to do what is right for you as the customer. EDIT in response to the owner's reply: Twenty-One Films DID offer to have us sign a release, which would have released them from any obligation to us but allowed them to keep 100% of what we paid for their entire service. They basically asked us to let them legally keep their entire fee in exchange for no service. Needless to say, we did not agree to those terms and the company STILL has never made a good faith offer to return even a symbolic amount of the fee we paid them. Even 5 years later, when they seem to have recovered from 2020, it seems they would prefer to debate with me in the comments rather than return a fraction of the money that they did absolutely nothing to earn. In contrast to Twenty-One Films, our photographer immediately offered us a fraction of our money back OR to fly up to New York for our rescheduled wedding in 2023. We took him up on the latter offer and he did an outstanding job delivering on the service that we paid him for.
Phil and his team were amazing. Hardly noticed there were there and our wedding reel was everything we wanted. I didn't want cheesy music and images that looked like a photographer shot it and sold it as video. Our wedding reel is full of live words and emotion and beautifully captured the wedding day. Their reputation in the Raleigh wedding industry is one built on consistency. Thank you for making this so easy.
Twenty-One Films was such a dream to work with! It was so easy the day of the wedding to be natural and forget that they were there, and they had such a fast turn around in delivering us a beautiful 7 minute highlight video, followed quickly by a 90 minute documentary of the most important parts of our wedding. The editing was beautiful from a visuals/sound standpoint, and it was such a gift to be able to have this video to relive the best day of our lives. Highly recommend their services!
My husband and I were recommended by another vendor to hire Twenty-One for our wedding. After hours of watching nearly every single video on their website, I was more than sold, and also exhausted from happy-crying for couples I didn't even know. I was amazed at how they can capture so many weddings with each and every video being so personalized to the individual couple. Fast-forward to hiring Phil and his team. Each person was so professional to work with, and our questions were answered quickly and easily. We upgraded our package mid-planning, which was completely seamless (and well worth it!!). On our wedding day itself, they arrived and worked very hard and stealthily, which allowed everyone to be completely themselves. Our short film and wedding video were absolutely more than the best videos we could have asked for. I don't think I can type into words how incredibly they captured our day, and how very the-most-beautiful-version-of-us it truly is. I have watched so many times already, and don't think I'll ever tire of doing so. If you're thinking of hiring a videographer, there is no comparison. Twenty-One is absolutely it!
