I was moving for the first time in 25 years, and I accumulated a large amount in my home. It always got away from me. Especially during the Pandemic years. Everything felt so overwhelming. I couldn't say that I would need everything moving forward, but I did need to remove it from the location. It was my responsibility. Yet, due to my schedule of working two jobs AND earning my Master's degree, I slowed down and I was tired. Getting sick in the last weeks of the year didn't help either, made everything that much harder. I spoke with Two Men on separate occasions doing my best to schedule and tell them how much help I needed. I asked as many questions as possible. I even rescheduled a couple of times due to my sporadic lifestyle. I was nervous about this change. To be honest, I was fairly embarrassed. Embarrassed by how much assistance I would need. I asked several around me for help and they fell into three categories: Try, Can't, Won't. I even tried on my own with a Uhaul. It was more than I could do. Moving makes you realize who is really in your corner for the challenging days. I know a few meant well, but they just might not understand how moving works (lol). From each conversation I had, I was met with patience and understanding. From Jackie, to the gentleman that spoke with me briefly to confirm my reservation (one of the managers, I don't recall his name), to the team they sent: Quinn, Kayode and Scott. The amount of professionalism, skill and teamwork made my anxiety lessen. I was motivated by how they worked and entertained some by how they seem to enjoy their group and the work they do. I was well informed by any changes that were needed after assessments, and they were very honest with me when it came to items that may not make the move in one piece or adjustments needed to my reservation. I highly appreciated their straightforward approach. It left no room for misunderstanding. I would HIGHLY recommend Quinn, Kayode and Scott. I promise they are up for the task. They moved me from a FOURTH-floor apartment, NO ELEVATOR! You would be in good hands. Fun fact: You can also request them. This I may end up doing for some additional work. Moving was not my original goal for the year, but it was needed. My building was no longer the Peace I needed at the end of a challenging day. I needed an environment more suited to my needs of a working professional AND a Graduate student. I am a First Gen College graduate and soon to be Master's Graduate of my family. This is important enough to make that decision. I say all of this to give the perspective of someone who is part introvert and has some trust issues that Two Men and a Truck are worth it. Thanks again, guys.
I had an excellent moving experience with Three Men and a Truck, from start to finish. The crew was punctual, professional, and handled everything with care. They worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and made the entire move stress-free, even amid maddening downtown high-rise moving policy shenanigans. I highly recommend Three Men and a Truck for anyone looking for reliable, quality movers.
Two men and a truck work a miracle. They moved my Aunt Emma out of a 3,400 square foot home she lived in 52 years it wasn’t an easy task but they conquered. The team sent to us, had the patience’s of Job!! They really catered to our every need. I never thought the move would be so easy but Gary,Scott and DeAndre worked it out and were timely (no playing or standing around talking but working till the end). There were no Oopsies. They package, wrapped and secured everything properly. The move to the new home 1,900 was a breeze. Thank you all and I’d recommend this company over and over again!! We were blessed with a fun loving team, it’s like they were moving there 82 year old Grandma!! And we had a separate crew the same day that took away things to storage and things she no longer needed!
My experience with Two Men and a Truck was fantastic. I was moving from a house to a highrise 25th floor condominium. My movers were Dyvon, Gary, and DeAndre. They were professional, helpful, and courteous. I attribute the ease of the move to them. They were very patient with me as I kept adding things I wanted moved. They had this ginormous roll of plastic wrap that they wrapped most things with. They wrapped my couches up! Also wrapped my piano keyboard, mirrors, chairs, etc. I felt like my things were treated with respect and were protected. Once we got to my new condominium I call myself trying to help as they unloaded my things. I reached for a little chair to carry. They were like no we don’t want you to carry anything. Once all my things were upstairs (25th floor) they put my two Queen bed frames together and moved it where I wanted. I didn’t know they would do this. I thought I would be left to fend for myself and put the beds together. They also assembled my recliner chair. Bottom line: This mover team was awesome. I told them I will request them specifically next time I need movers. I am pleased with my experience.
It was an excellent experience working with Theo, Scott, and DeAndre from Two Men and a Truck. They made our moving day so much easier! Led by Theo, the whole team worked efficiently, carefully, and professionally. They were also super chill and cool — we couldn’t have asked for better help!
